The icefox K80 is a high-performance action camera designed to capture your adventures in stunning 5K resolution. Featuring Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), a touch screen, adjustable view angles, and waterproof capabilities, it's perfect for various sports and outdoor activities.

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation and Charging
- Open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the camera.
- Insert the 1350mAh battery with the correct orientation, ensuring the contacts align.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- To charge, connect the camera to a USB power source using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
3.2 MicroSD Card Installation
The camera supports Micro SD cards up to 128GB (Class 10 or higher recommended).
- Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera.
- Insert the Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card until it pops out.
3.3 Waterproof Case Usage

The icefox K80 is waterproof up to 5 meters (16 feet) without the waterproof case. For depths up to 30 meters (98 feet), use the included IP68 waterproof housing.
- Before each use, ensure the waterproof case is clean and free of debris.
- Place the camera inside the case, ensuring it fits snugly.
- Close the latch securely. A click sound indicates it's properly sealed.
- Important: Always test the waterproof case without the camera inside before first use, especially for deep water activities.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Operations
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button on the front of the camera for 3 seconds.
- Mode Switching: Short press the Power/Mode button to cycle through video, photo, playback, and settings modes.
- Shutter/Select Button: Press the Shutter button on top to start/stop recording or take a photo. In menu, it acts as a select button.
- Navigation: Use the touchscreen for navigation or the Up/Down buttons on the side (if applicable) to navigate menus.
4.2 Video Recording
- Switch to Video Mode.
- Press the Shutter button to start recording. A red indicator light will blink, and the recording timer will appear on the screen.
- Press the Shutter button again to stop recording.
Video Resolutions: 5K 30fps, 4K 60/30fps, 2.7K 60/30fps, 1080P 120/60/30fps, 720P 240/120/60fps.
4.3 Photo Capture
- Switch to Photo Mode.
- Frame your shot using the screen.
- Press the Shutter button to take a photo.
Photo Resolutions: 20M/16M/14M/10M/8M/5M/2M.
4.4 Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS)

4.5 Adjustable View Angle and Zoom

- Use the zoom function (usually via touchscreen gestures or dedicated buttons) to magnify your subject.
4.6 Wi-Fi Connection (App Control)
Connect your camera to a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi for remote control and file transfer.
- Download the "ISmart DV" app from your device's app store.
- On the camera, enable Wi-Fi from the settings menu. The camera's Wi-Fi name and password will be displayed.
- On your smartphone/tablet, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network.
- Open the "ISmart DV" app. You can now view live footage, control recording, and download files.
4.7 Remote Control Usage

- Ensure the remote control battery is installed.
- Press the video button on the remote to start/stop video recording.
- Press the photo button on the remote to take a photo.
4.8 External Microphone Connection
For enhanced audio quality, connect the external microphone.
- Locate the microphone port on the side of the camera (usually a 2.5mm or 3.5mm jack).
- Plug in the external microphone securely. The camera will automatically switch to the external microphone for audio input.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning and Storage
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera lens and screen. For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning solution.
- Clean the waterproof case after each use, especially after saltwater exposure, by rinsing with fresh water and allowing it to air dry.
- Store the camera and accessories in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
5.2 Battery Care
- Fully charge batteries before first use.
- Do not expose batteries to fire or excessive heat.
- If storing the camera for extended periods, remove the batteries.
- Dispose of depleted batteries according to local regulations.
