Setup Instructions
1. Charging the Controller
Before initial use, fully charge the controller. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the controller's Type-C port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., PC, USB wall adapter).

The LED indicators on the controller will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 8 hours of gameplay.
2. Connecting to PC (Wireless)
- Insert the USB wireless dongle into an available USB port on your PC.
- Turn on the EvoFox Elite X controller. The controller will automatically attempt to pair with the dongle.
- Once connected, the LED indicators on the controller will stabilize, indicating a successful connection.

Controller Layout and Functions

- Analog Triggers: Provide precise control for acceleration and braking in racing games, or variable input in other genres.
- High Precision Joysticks: Offer accurate and responsive movement control.
- D-Pad: For directional input.
- Action Buttons (A, B, X, Y): Standard gaming input buttons.
- Shoulder Buttons (LB, RB) and Triggers (LT, RT): Additional input options.
- Select/Back Button: Typically used for menu navigation.
- Start Button: Typically used for pausing or starting games.
- EvoFox Logo Button: May function as a home or guide button depending on the game/platform.
Programmable Macro Back Buttons
The EvoFox Elite X features two programmable macro back buttons (M1, M2) located on the underside of the controller. These allow you to assign complex sequences of commands to a single button press.

Programming a Macro:
- Press and hold the "EZ" button (located near the center of the controller) until the indicator light flashes.
- Press the macro button (M1 or M2) you wish to program.
- Input the sequence of buttons you want to record (e.g., A, B, X).
- Press the "EZ" button again to save the macro. The indicator light will stop flashing.
Note: Macros are typically stored in volatile memory and may be erased when the controller is powered off or disconnected. Refer to the manual for specific details on macro persistence.
Turbo Mode
Activate Turbo Mode to rapidly repeat a button press without continuous input. This can be useful for certain in-game actions.
- Press and hold the "Turbo" button.
- While holding "Turbo", press the action button you wish to apply Turbo functionality to (e.g., A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT).
- Release both buttons. The selected button will now rapidly repeat when held down.
To Clear Turbo Mode:
- Press and hold the "Clear" button.
- While holding "Clear", press the button that has Turbo enabled.
- Release both buttons. Turbo mode will be deactivated for that specific button.
Adjustable Vibration Levels
The controller features dual vibration motors with adjustable intensity. Dedicated buttons on the underside of the controller allow you to increase or decrease vibration feedback.
- Use the '+' button to increase vibration intensity.
- Use the '-' button to decrease vibration intensity or turn it off completely.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the controller. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the controller frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in constant use.
- Reset Button: A small reset button is located on the back of the controller. In case of unresponsive behavior, use a thin object (like a paperclip) to press the reset button to recalibrate the gamepad.
Troubleshooting
Controller Not Connecting
- Ensure the USB wireless dongle is securely inserted into a working USB port on your PC.
- Verify the controller is powered on and has sufficient battery charge.
- Try inserting the USB dongle into a different USB port.
- Restart your PC and try connecting again.
- Press the reset button on the back of the controller.
Input Lag or Disconnections
- Ensure you are within the wireless operating range (up to 30 feet) of the USB dongle.
- Minimize interference from other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other 2.4GHz devices).
- Ensure the controller is fully charged. Low battery can affect wireless performance.
Buttons or Joysticks Unresponsive
- Check if the controller is properly connected and powered on.
- Press the reset button on the back of the controller to recalibrate.
- Ensure no debris is obstructing the buttons or joysticks.
- Test the controller with a different game or application to rule out software-specific issues.
