7. Operating Instructions

The DEEPLITE CL-01-2 offers flexible operation through its integrated switches and remote control.

7.1. Light Mode Switch

Located on the light fixture, this switch controls the primary operating mode:

  • OFF: Turns the light off.
  • AUTO: Activates the motion sensor. In this mode, the light will only turn on when motion is detected in dark conditions and will turn off automatically after 20 seconds of no motion.
  • ON: Provides continuous light, bypassing the motion sensor. The light will stay on until the battery runs out or it is switched off.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the light fixture with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge when the indicator light flashes red.
  • Storage: If storing the light for an extended period, ensure it is fully charged and store in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Light not turning on:
    • Check if the battery is charged.
    • Ensure the light mode switch is set to 'ON' or 'AUTO'.
    • In 'AUTO' mode, verify ambient light conditions are dark enough for activation.
  • Motion sensor not detecting:
    • Ensure the light mode switch is set to 'AUTO'.
    • Verify the detection range (20 ft) and angle (120°) are not obstructed.
    • Check if the ambient light is too bright; the sensor may not activate in bright environments to save battery.
  • Remote control not working:
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the light.
    • Check the remote control's battery.
    • The remote uses infrared (IR) technology, requiring direct line of sight.
  • Light turns off too quickly in 'AUTO' mode:
    • The light is designed to turn off after 20 seconds of no motion in 'AUTO' mode. If continuous light is needed, switch to 'ON' mode or use the remote's timer function.
