4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the OS1 pickup. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the pickup unit and plug the other end into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.

4.2 Installation on Guitar
The OS1 pickup is designed for internal installation within the acoustic guitar body. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and optimal sound.
- Carefully determine the optimal placement for the main control unit on the side of your guitar, typically near the soundhole or upper bout.
- Mark and cut the necessary opening for the control panel and tailspike jack. Ensure precise measurements to avoid damage to your instrument.
- Install the tailspike cable and secure it with the copper nut. This will also serve as your output jack.
- Mount the main control panel into the prepared opening.
- Attach the piezoelectric sensor plate (pickup stick) to the bridge saddle or under the saddle, ensuring good contact for optimal vibration transfer.
- Connect the sensor plate cable and the tailspike cable to the main OS1 unit.
- Use the provided cable buckles to neatly secure any loose internal wiring.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Locate the power button on the control panel. Press and hold for a few seconds to power on or power off the unit. Indicator lights will illuminate upon power-on.

5.2 Controls Overview

- Main Volume Knob: The large central knob controls the overall output volume.
- Reverb Button: Press to activate/deactivate the reverb effect. Adjust intensity via the main volume knob or dedicated effect control if available.
- Chorus Button: Press to activate/deactivate the chorus effect.
- Delay Button: Press to activate/deactivate the delay effect.
- Mic Button: Activates the built-in microphone for capturing percussive sounds on the guitar body or vocal input.

5.3 Adjusting Effects
The OS1 allows for adjustment of the built-in effects.
