3. Setup

3.1 Assembly

The Philips Series 5000 Tower Fan requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps:

3.2 Remote Control Battery Installation

The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). To install:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

4.4 Oscillation Function

To activate the 60-degree auto-rotation:

  • Press the Oscillation button (often indicated by a rotating arrow icon) on the control panel or remote control. Press again to stop oscillation.

4.5 Timer Function

Set the fan to automatically turn off after a specified period:
