1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your WNKRUN CS-200D Wireless Restaurant Pager System. This system is designed to enhance communication efficiency in various service environments such as restaurants, cafes, churches, clinics, and hospitals. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper function and longevity.

3. Product Features

  • Multiple Alert Tones: Features 7 distinct prompt tones, adjustable for various environments.
  • High Capacity: The display receiver supports up to 200 call buttons, with numbers from 001 to ZZZ, including combined number and letter displays.
  • Adjustable Volume: 10 levels of volume adjustment (0=mute) and support for external audio for louder broadcasts.
  • Efficient Communication: Multi-number display function and configurable announcement repeats improve response speed.
  • Waterproof Design: Call buttons and wrist watches are IPX67 waterproof.
  • Extended Range: Signal range up to 1312ft in open outdoor areas (164-328ft indoors) between display and buttons. Watch pagers have a range of 262ft outdoors (98ft indoors). A signal amplifier is included to extend range if needed.
  • Pre-Paired: Buttons and receivers are pre-paired for immediate plug-and-play use.

4. Setup

4.1 Display Receiver Setup

The display receiver can be wall-mounted or placed on a desktop using its integrated stand. Connect the power adapter to the receiver and a power outlet.

The display receiver features touch-screen controls: FUN (Enter/Exit settings), BIT (Choose number to edit), ADJ (Adjust number), and ENT (Save setting/Cancel call). A remote control (if purchased separately) can also be used for these functions.

4.2 Call Button Setup

The call buttons are pre-paired with the display receiver and watch pagers. No initial setup is required for basic operation. Ensure the buttons are placed in easily accessible locations for customers.

4.3 Watch Pager Setup

The watch pagers are also pre-paired. Charge the watch pagers using the provided USB charging cable before first use. The watch features a clear display, a soft silicone strap, and a perspiration hole for comfort.

4.4 Signal Amplifier Placement

The signal amplifier extends the wireless range of the system. Place it strategically to cover areas where signal strength might be weak due to walls or distance. Connect the power adapter to the amplifier and a power outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Making a Call

When a customer requires service, they press the 'CALL' button on the call button unit. This action sends a signal to the display receiver and watch pagers.

5.2 Receiving a Call (Display Receiver)

Upon receiving a call, the display receiver will show the corresponding call button number and broadcast it audibly. The display can show multiple calls simultaneously, enhancing response efficiency.

5.3 Receiving a Call (Watch Pager)

The watch pager worn by staff will vibrate and display the call button number. To clear a call from the watch display, long-press the 'R' key.

5.4 Adjusting Settings

The display receiver allows for various adjustments:

  • F01 - Add Transmitter: To pair new call buttons or change existing numbers (001-ZZZ). Press FUN, navigate to F01 with ADJ, press ENT. Use BIT and ADJ to set the desired number, then press ENT. Finally, press the call button to confirm pairing.

  • F03 - Add Remote Control: To pair a remote control with the display unit. Press FUN, navigate to F03, press ENT. Press the corresponding buttons on the remote control to pair.
  • F04 - Delete Remote Control: To delete a paired remote control. Navigate to F04, press ENT, then select the remote control number (1-9) or '0' to delete all.

  • F05 - Display Mode: Select from 1, 2, 3, or 4 group display modes. The default is 2 group display. Note: For 3 or 4 group display, only the last two digits of the number will be announced.

  • F06 - Volume Control: Adjust the volume level from 0-9. Level 0 is mute.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Call Button Battery Replacement

The call buttons use 12V batteries. When the indicator light dims or the button stops transmitting, replace the battery:

  1. Use a screwdriver to open the four screws on the back cover.
  2. Carefully open the back cover and replace the CR2032*2 batteries.
  3. Replace the back cover and restore the screws.

6.2 Cleaning

Wipe all components with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the display receiver or signal amplifier in water. The call buttons and watch pagers are IPX67 waterproof and can withstand splashes and brief immersion.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Signal/Short Range: Signal distance can be affected by environmental factors (walls, interference). Ensure the signal amplifier is properly placed. If the range is insufficient, consider adding additional WNKRUN signal boosters.
  • Call Button Not Responding: Check the battery in the call button. Replace if necessary (refer to Section 6.1). Ensure the button is properly paired (refer to Section 5.4, F01 setting).
  • Display Receiver Not Showing Calls: Verify the display receiver is powered on. Check if the call button is paired correctly.
  • Watch Pager Not Displaying: Ensure the watch pager is charged. Check if it is properly paired with the system.
  • Multiple Receivers: The system supports multiple display receivers and watch pagers working with all call buttons simultaneously (one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-one, many-to-many configurations are supported).
