Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your Oilsky M501 player. Connect the included Type-C charging cable to the device's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

2. Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button on the side of the device until the screen lights up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button, then select 'Power Off' from the options that appear on the screen.

3. Inserting the TF Card

The device comes with a 64GB TF card pre-installed or included separately. To insert or replace the TF card, locate the card slot on the side of the player. Gently push the TF card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.

4. Initial Wi-Fi Connection

To access online features and install apps, connect your device to a Wi-Fi network:

1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
2. Toggle Wi-Fi On.

4. Enter the password if prompted and tap Connect.

1. Navigation and Touchscreen

2. Music Playback

• Open the Music application.

3. Video Playback

The device supports 1080P HD video playback and is compatible with most video formats including RM, AVI, RMVB, FLV, MP4, DAT, MKV, MPG, MOV, and TS, without the need for decoding.

• Open the Video or Gallery application.
• Select the video you wish to watch.

4. Bluetooth Connection

The M501 features Bluetooth 4.0 for stable and low-power wireless connections to headphones, earphones, or speakers. It can automatically reconnect to previously paired devices.
