5. Operating Instructions
Once assembled, the grinder-chopper is ready for use.
- Ensure the appliance is properly assembled with the motor unit securely locked.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Press and hold the desired operating button on the motor unit to start chopping/grinding. The appliance typically has two speed settings.
- Use short pulses for coarse chopping or for better control over consistency. For finer results, hold the button for a longer duration, but do not operate continuously for more than 30 seconds to prevent overheating. Allow the motor to rest between cycles.
- Once desired consistency is achieved, release the button and unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
- Wait for the blades to completely stop before removing the motor unit and lid.
- Carefully remove the blades before emptying the processed food from the bowl.
Tips for Best Results:
- Cut large ingredients into smaller, uniform pieces (approx. 2-3 cm) before processing.
- Do not overload the bowl. Process in smaller batches if necessary.
- For ingredients like nuts or hard vegetables, use short, quick pulses.
- If ingredients stick to the side of the bowl, unplug the unit, remove the motor and lid, scrape down the sides with a spatula, then reassemble and continue.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your SOKANY Grinder-Chopper.
- Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Disassemble all removable parts: motor unit, lid, blades, and stainless steel bowl.
- The stainless steel bowl, lid, and blades can be washed in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots or corrosion, especially on the blades. Be extremely careful when handling the sharp blades.
- The motor unit should never be immersed in water or any other liquid. Wipe its exterior with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent on the cloth, then wipe with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the appliance.
Storage: Store the assembled or disassembled appliance in a dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
