6. Care and Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Wipe the piano surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, especially near the control panel and ports.

6.2 Storage

When not in use, gently roll up the piano. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the rolled-up piano.

6.3 Battery Information

The piano contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. To prolong battery life:

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Charge the piano regularly, even if not used for extended periods.
  • Do not expose the piano to extreme heat or cold.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 No Sound

  • Ensure the piano is powered on.
  • Check the volume level and increase it if necessary.
  • If headphones are connected, ensure they are fully plugged in and functioning correctly. Disconnect headphones to check if sound comes from the internal speakers.
  • Ensure the battery is charged.

7.2 Distorted Sound

  • Lower the volume if it is set too high.
  • Ensure the piano is on a flat, stable surface.
  • If using an external MP3 input, check the volume level of the connected device.

7.3 Headphone Issues

If sound still comes from the speakers when headphones are plugged in, ensure the headphone jack is fully inserted. Some headphones may require a firm push to engage the internal switch that mutes the speakers.

7.4 MIDI Connectivity Issues

  • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the piano and the computer.
  • Verify that your computer's operating system and music software recognize the MIDI device. You may need to select the piano as a MIDI input device in your software settings.
  • Try a different USB port on your computer.
