1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient assembly, operation, and maintenance of your greenhouse. Please read these instructions thoroughly before beginning assembly and retain this manual for future reference.

2. Safety Information

• Always assemble the greenhouse on a level, stable surface.
• Ensure all connections are securely fastened before use.
• In areas prone to high winds, it is crucial to take additional precautions. We recommend removing the cover or securing it tightly with additional weights, ground anchors, or other suitable methods during high winds. This precaution significantly protects your property.
• Keep children and pets away from the assembly area.
• Do not use the greenhouse for purposes other than its intended use as a plant shelter.

3. Package Contents

Before installation, please verify that all components listed in the user manual's PART LIST are present and undamaged. If any items are missing or broken, please contact customer support.

Key components include:

• Galvanized Steel Frame components (various poles and connectors)
• 150g/sqm UV Resistant PE Grid Cover
• Watering Kits (15-ft water hose, copper nozzles, faucet converter)
• Ground Staples and Tie Ropes for securing
• Bolts and Screws for assembly

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly requires careful attention to detail. It is recommended to have at least two people for efficient and safe assembly. Refer to the included assembly video for visual guidance.

4.2 Step-by-Step Assembly

1. Pre-assemble Curved Supports: Pre-assemble the five curved supports (labeled 1x2) using the longer bolts. Insert the bolts but do not tighten them fully at this stage. These will be assembled to the top later.
2. Pre-assemble Floor Supports: Pre-assemble two floor supports (labeled 4+5) using the shorter bolts. Tighten these screws securely.
3. Install Bottom Frame: Put together the two floor supports (4+5) and two horizontal supports (2+3+3) to form the base frame. Ensure all horizontal supports are assembled on the inner sides of the frame. Fasten the bottom frame with longer bolts.
4. Assemble Vertical Supports: Insert the vertical supports (labeled 2 or 3) into the bottom frame.
5. Assemble Diagonal Supports: Assemble two diagonal supports (labeled 6) to the middle position of the frame for added stability.
6. Install Horizontal and Curved Supports: Successively assemble the remaining horizontal supports and then the curved supports to complete the main frame structure. Fasten all screws in turn.
7. Install the Cover: Unzip the doors before pulling the cover over the frame. Carefully pull the 150g/sqm PE grid cover over the assembled frame. Use the Velcro straps and ties located inside the cover to secure it to the frame. If it is hard to zip up, please pull the cover on both sides of the door towards the middle. Adjust the cover to ensure the seam around the door is aligned with the door frame.
8. Secure from Winds: Tie the two ends of the provided rope to the ground stakes and insert them into the ground, extending across the top of the greenhouse. Extra stakes can be inserted above the floor supports for enhanced stability. Consider placing weights like stones, bricks, or sandbags on the extended side of the cover for additional security.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Watering System

Your KING BIRD greenhouse includes an all-around watering system with a 15-ft extendable water hose and irrigation kit. The copper nozzles allow for adjustable water mist size and direction, preventing water drainage and drought. This system can also help cool down the greenhouse during hot summers.

• Connect the 15-ft water hose to a standard US faucet using the provided converter.
• Position the copper nozzles to target specific plants or areas within the greenhouse.
• Adjust the water mist size and direction as needed for optimal plant hydration.

5.2 Temperature and Humidity Control

The greenhouse features versatile options for efficient temperature and humidity management:

• Doors: Two entrances with multifunctional PE and zippered screen doors allow for easy access and ventilation.
• Windows: Eight roll-up screen windows provide cross-ventilation, helping to regulate temperature and humidity. Open windows on hot days to enhance airflow and close them in winter to retain warmth.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cover Care

The 150g/sqm PE grid cover is reinforced, waterproof, and UV resistant. To maximize its lifespan:

• Regularly inspect the cover for any tears or damage. Small tears can often be repaired with specialized greenhouse repair tape.
• Clean the cover periodically with mild soap and water to remove dirt and debris, which can reduce light transmission. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Ensure the cover fits snugly to the frame to enhance warmth and wind resistance.

6.2 Frame Maintenance

The heavy-duty galvanized steel frame is designed for durability. To maintain its condition:

• Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight.
• Inspect the frame for any signs of rust or damage. Address any issues promptly to prevent further deterioration.

6.3 Wind Precautions

Due to the natural and inevitable "SAIL EFFECT" caused by the tarps in high winds, it is highly recommended to remove the cover or secure it tightly with additional weights, ground anchors, or other suitable methods during high winds. This precaution can greatly protect your property and the greenhouse structure.

7. Troubleshooting

• Difficulty Zipping Doors: If the doors are hard to zip, adjust the cover by pulling it on both sides of the door towards the middle to relieve tension.
• Watering System Malfunction: Check hose connections for leaks. Ensure nozzles are clear of debris. Verify water supply is adequate.
• Greenhouse Instability: Ensure all frame connections are tight. Verify ground stakes and tie ropes are properly installed and secured. Add additional weights or anchors in windy conditions.
• Excessive Heat Inside: Open all doors and roll-up windows to increase cross-ventilation. Consider using a shade cloth if temperatures remain too high.
• Excessive Cold Inside: Ensure all doors and windows are securely closed. Check for any gaps in the cover.
