4. Setup & Connection

4.1 Initial PS4 Connection

Important: For the very first pairing and connection with a PS4 console, you must use the included USB cable to activate the device. After this initial wired connection, normal wireless connection can be made.

1. Connect one end of the USB Charge Cable to the controller's USB Charging Jack.
2. Connect the other end of the USB Charge Cable to an available USB port on your PS4 console.
3. Press and hold the HOME button on the controller. The controller's LED light bar will flash.
4. Once successfully connected, the LED light bar will remain lit. You can now enjoy your controller wired or wirelessly.
