2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Placement

  • Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  • Place the unit on a flat, stable surface, ensuring adequate space around it for optimal airflow (at least 8 inches from walls or furniture).
  • Ensure the power cord is not obstructed and is easily accessible.

2.2 Filter Installation

The PH950 features an 8-stage purification system with multiple filters. Ensure all filters are correctly installed before first use.

  1. Open the filter compartment cover, typically located on the side or back of the unit.
  2. Remove any protective packaging from each filter.
  3. Insert the filters in the correct order as indicated by markings inside the unit or in the diagram below. The system includes a mesh pre-filter, cotton filter, True HEPA 13 filter, activated carbon filter, and cold catalyst filter.
  4. Close the filter compartment cover securely.

2.3 Humidifier Water Tank Setup

For humidification, fill the water tank with clean, distilled water.

  3. Replace the water tank securely into the unit.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your Turonic PH950 air purifier.

4.1 Filter Replacement

The filter health indicator on the control panel will notify you when it's time to replace the filters. It is recommended to replace filters as indicated to maintain optimal purification performance.

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Open the filter compartment cover.
  3. Remove the old filters and dispose of them properly.
  4. Install new filters, ensuring they are placed in the correct orientation and order.
  5. Close the filter compartment cover.
  6. Plug in the unit and press the "Reset" button on the control panel to reset the filter life indicator.

4.2 Humidifier Cleaning

To prevent mineral buildup and maintain hygiene, regularly clean the humidifier water tank and humidifying filter.

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
  3. Clean the inside of the water tank and the humidifying filter with a soft brush and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. For stubborn mineral deposits, use a descaling solution or a mixture of white vinegar and water.
  5. Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling.

5. Troubleshooting
