Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically requires two people. While an Allen wrench is provided, using your own tools such as a 10mm socket, ratchet, 1/2 socket, extension, and a Phillips head screwdriver may expedite the process.

1. Prepare the Area: Clear a spacious, flat area for assembly. Unpack all components and lay them out, verifying against the parts list.
2. Assemble the Reclining Mechanism First: It is recommended to assemble the reclining mechanism components (parts F and E) to the side frames (parts I and H) before attaching them to the main base (part D). This allows for easier alignment of all screws. Insert all screws loosely first, then tighten them in a criss-cross pattern, similar to tightening lug nuts, until secure.
3. Attach Side Frames to Base: Once the reclining mechanism is secured to the side frames, attach the combined unit (H & I) to the main base (D). Ensure all bolts are aligned and tightened securely.
4. Attach Backrest and Footrest: Secure the backrest and footrest components to the main frame according to the diagram. Pay close attention to the orientation of each piece.
5. Install Cushions: Place the seat, back, and footrest cushions onto the assembled chair. Ensure they are properly aligned and secured if they have ties or non-slip features.

Adjusting the Recline Position

The chairs feature 4 distinct reclining positions. To adjust, gently push back on the chair's backrest while applying slight pressure with your feet to extend the footrest. The mechanism will lock into one of the four positions. To return to an upright position, lean forward and apply pressure to the footrest to retract it.

Extended Footrest
