1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the INNOCN 28C1Q SDQHD Vertical Monitor. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your new monitor. The 28C1Q is designed for enhanced productivity, offering a unique 16:18 aspect ratio and a high-resolution display for various professional and creative tasks.

2. What's in the Box
Verify that all components are present before proceeding with the setup:
- 1 x 28C1Q Vertical Editing Monitor
- 1 x HDMI Cable
- 1 x Type C Cable

3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Monitor Assembly
The INNOCN 28C1Q monitor comes with a metal adjustable stand that supports various postures. Follow these steps to assemble the monitor:
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Attach the stand base to the stand column. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Align the stand column with the mounting slot on the back of the monitor. Gently push until it clicks into place.
- Place the assembled monitor on a stable, flat surface.
3.2 Connecting to a Device
The 28C1Q monitor offers rich connectivity options. Choose the appropriate cable for your device:
- USB Type-C (90W): For charging, video, and data transfer with compatible laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Use the provided Type C cable.
- HDMI 2.1: Connects to devices using an HDMI cable. Two HDMI 2.1 ports are available.
- DisplayPort 1.4: Connects to devices using a DisplayPort cable. One DP1.4 port is available.
- USB-A (x2): For connecting USB peripherals.
- USB-B 3.0 (x1): For upstream connection to enable USB-A ports and KVM functionality.
- RJ45: For wired network connection.
- 3.5mm Audio Out: For connecting external speakers or headphones.

After connecting the necessary cables, connect the power cable to the monitor and a power outlet. Press the power button to turn on the monitor.
4. Operating the Monitor
4.1 Display Features
The 28C1Q features a 28-inch SDQHD (2560 x 2880) Nano IPS display with a 16:18 aspect ratio, providing a unique vertical workspace. It supports 98% DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR 10, delivering vibrant and accurate colors at a 60Hz refresh rate.

4.2 Adjustable Stand
The monitor's metal adjustable stand allows for versatile positioning to suit your ergonomic needs. It supports:
- Height Adjustment: Adjust the monitor vertically to your preferred viewing height.
- Tilt Adjustment: Tilt the screen forward or backward for optimal viewing angles.
- Pivot Adjustment: Rotate the screen 90 degrees for portrait or landscape orientation.
- Swivel Adjustment: Swivel the monitor left or right.

4.3 Advanced Features (PIP/PBP, KVM, Auto Brightness)
The 28C1Q includes advanced features to enhance productivity:
- PIP (Picture-in-Picture) / PBP (Picture-by-Picture): These functions allow you to view content from two simultaneous sources on the same screen. Refer to the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu for configuration.
- KVM Mode: The KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) switch allows you to control multiple computers with a single set of keyboard and mouse connected to the monitor. This requires connecting the USB-B upstream cable from the monitor to your primary computer and the USB-C or other video inputs to your secondary devices.
- Automatic Brightness: The monitor can automatically adjust screen brightness to a comfortable level based on ambient light conditions. This feature is typically enabled by default.

5. Maintenance

- Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, dampen the cloth slightly with water or a screen-cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Cleaning the Casing: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the monitor casing.
- Ventilation: Ensure the monitor's ventilation openings are not blocked to prevent overheating.
- Power Off When Not in Use: Turn off the monitor when not in use for extended periods to save energy and prolong its lifespan.
6. Troubleshooting
