- The cot base can be placed at two different heights. Choose the appropriate height for your child's age and development. For newborns, the higher position is recommended.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Cot Usage
- Adjusting Cot Base Height: The cot base has two height settings. For infants, use the higher setting to easily lift and place the baby. As the child grows and can sit up or pull themselves up, lower the base to prevent climbing out. Refer to assembly instructions for changing the base height.
- Removing Cot Side: When your child is old enough to climb in and out of the cot independently, one side can be removed to convert it into a toddler bed. Follow the specific instructions for safe removal and re-attachment of the side.
5.2 Mattress Usage
- The mattress has two different surfaces: one wavy side with medium-firm comfort and one smooth side which is firmer. Choose the side that best suits your child's comfort preference.
- Ensure the mattress fits snugly within the cot frame to prevent gaps.
5.3 Changing Table Usage
- When using as a changing table, ensure the leaf is securely fixed in the folded down position.
- Always keep one hand on your baby while using the changing table.
- The practical storage space allows you to keep changing essentials within close reach.
- Conversion to Chest of Drawers: Once your child no longer requires a changing table, fold in the leaf and secure it with the included fitting to convert the unit into a chest of drawers for long-term use.
6. Maintenance and Care
6.1 Furniture Care
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth and a mild cleaner.
- Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
- Regularly check all assembly fittings and re-tighten if necessary.
6.2 Mattress Cover Care
- The outer mattress cover is easy to remove.
- Machine washable at 60°C (140°F).
- Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry, low temperature.
- Iron, medium temperature.
- Do not dryclean.
- The zipper of the mattress has a small pocket to hide the pull tab from children.
7. Troubleshooting
- Wobbly Furniture: Ensure all screws and fittings are securely tightened. Re-tighten as needed.
- Drawers Sticking: Check that the drawer runners are correctly installed and free from obstructions. Ensure the drawer stops are not interfering with normal operation unless intended.
