Setup Instructions
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
- Placement: Position the dehumidifier in a central location within the area to be dehumidified. Ensure there is at least 1 foot (30 cm) of clear space around all sides for proper airflow. Avoid placing the unit against walls or furniture that could obstruct air intake or exhaust.
- Drainage Setup:
- Locate the drain hose (25ft provided) and connect it to the unit's drain outlet.
- Direct the other end of the drain hose to a suitable drainage point, such as a floor drain, sink, or a larger container. The built-in condensate pump can lift water up to 15 feet vertically, allowing for flexible drainage options.
- Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or obstructed to allow for continuous water flow.

- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (120V AC).
- Handle Adjustment: The unit features a retractable handle for easy transport. Pull out the knobs on each side of the handle, turn them to unlock, and then lift the handle to the desired height. Push and turn the knobs to lock the handle in place.

Control Panel Overview

Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the Power button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.
- Setting Desired Humidity: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the target relative humidity. The unit will operate automatically to maintain this level (range: 20%-90% RH).
- Continuous Drainage: With the drain hose connected, the unit will automatically pump out collected water.
- Manual Pump Activation: If you need to manually drain the internal reservoir, press the 'Pump' button on the control panel. The pump will activate to empty the collected water.
- Automatic Restart: In case of a power interruption, the unit will automatically restart with its previous settings once power is restored.
- Auto Defrost: The unit features an automatic defrost function to prevent ice buildup on the coils, ensuring efficient operation in cooler environments.
Maintenance
Filter Cleaning
Regular cleaning of the air filter is crucial for maintaining the dehumidifier's efficiency and lifespan. The unit uses a washable metal mesh filter.
- Accessing the Filter: The filter is located behind the metal grille on the side of the unit. Carefully remove the grille to access the filter.
- Cleaning: Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinstallation. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Reinstallation: Once dry, place the filter back into its slot and secure the metal grille.
