2. Initial Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Contents

Upon opening the package, ensure all components are present:

  • Xiaomi Redmi A2 Smartphone
  • Power Adapter
  • USB Type-C Cable
  • SIM Ejector Tool

2.2 Inserting SIM Card and microSD Card

The Redmi A2 supports dual Nano-SIM cards and a dedicated microSD card for expandable storage.

  1. Locate the SIM tray on the side of the device.
  2. Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and push gently until the tray pops out.
  3. Place your Nano-SIM card(s) and/or microSD card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts face downwards.
  4. Carefully reinsert the tray into the phone.
