3. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your STAKOL Evaporative Air Cooler for first use.
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove the air cooler and all accessories from the packaging.
- Place the unit on a firm, level, and dry surface, ensuring there is adequate space around it for proper airflow.
3.2 Filling the Water Tank and Using Ice Crystal Boxes
For cooling and humidifying functions, water must be added to the tank. For enhanced cooling, utilize the provided ice crystal boxes.

- Pull out the water tank from the bottom rear of the unit.
- Fill the water tank with clean water. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line. The tank capacity is 2.5 liters (0.66 gallons).
- For colder air, place the ice crystal boxes in a freezer for several hours until they are completely frozen.
- Once frozen, place the ice crystal boxes into the water tank.
- Carefully slide the water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place.

3.3 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a standard 120V/60Hz electrical outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.
4. Operating Instructions
Your STAKOL Evaporative Air Cooler can be controlled via the touch control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

4.1 Power On/Off
- Press the Power button (⏸) on the control panel or remote to turn the unit on or off.
4.2 Adjusting Wind Speed
There are three wind speed settings: Low, Medium, and High.
- Press the Speed button (⚙) repeatedly to cycle through the speeds.
4.3 Selecting Wind Mode
Choose from three distinct wind modes: Normal, Natural, and Sleep.

- Normal Mode: Provides a constant, steady airflow.
- Natural Mode: Simulates a natural breeze by varying the fan speed.
- Sleep Mode: Gradually reduces fan speed and dims the display for undisturbed sleep.
- Press the Mode button (☼) repeatedly to select your desired mode.
4.4 Activating Cooling/Humidifying Function
To activate the evaporative cooling and humidifying function, ensure the water tank is filled.
- Press the Cooling button (❄) to turn on the water pump and begin the cooling/humidifying process. Press again to turn off.
4.5 Oscillation Function
The unit features a 70° wide oscillation to distribute air across a larger area.

- Press the Oscillation button (↻) to start or stop the oscillation.
4.6 Timer Function
Set the unit to automatically turn off after a specified period (1-9 hours).

- Press the Timer button (⏱) repeatedly to set the desired shut-off time in 1-hour increments. The display will show the set time.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air cooler.
5.1 Cleaning the Exterior
- Before cleaning, always unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5.2 Cleaning the Water Tank
It is recommended to clean the water tank regularly, especially if the unit is used frequently or if water has been stagnant for a long time.
- Unplug the unit.
- Pull out the water tank.
- Empty any remaining water. The unit features a bottom drain plug for convenience.
- Clean the tank with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Ensure the tank is dry before reinserting it.
5.3 Cleaning the Filter
The air cooler is equipped with a washable and removable filter to ensure fresh and clean air output.

- Unplug the unit.
- Locate the filter access panel (usually at the rear of the unit).
- Remove the filter.
- Rinse the filter under running water to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush and mild detergent.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.
5.4 Storage
- If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the filter is dry.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
