3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Solong Tattoo Gun Kit:

3.1 Power Supply Setup

  1. Connect the power cord to the power supply unit and plug it into a suitable electrical outlet (Input Voltage: 100-240V, 50-60Hz).
  2. Connect the RCA cord from the tattoo pen to the "Machine" port (1) on the power supply.
  3. Connect the foot pedal to the "Foot Pedal" port (2) on the power supply.
  4. Use the "Adjusting Knob" (3) to set the desired output voltage (Output Voltage: 0-13.0V).

  1. Ensure the tattoo pen is clean and sterilized.
  2. Carefully insert a cartridge needle into the front of the tattoo pen. Ensure it clicks securely into place. WARNING: Improper installation can cause the needle to pop out during use, leading to injury.
  3. Connect the RCA cord to the DC Jack at the back of the tattoo pen.
  4. Adjust the needle depth by twisting the non-slip grip. The needle depth can be adjusted from 0-4.2mm.
  5. The recommended working voltage is 7-11V. Do not exceed this voltage for prolonged periods.

4. Operating Instructions

Once your kit is set up, you can begin operating the tattoo machine.

  1. Ensure your practice skin or surface is prepared.
  2. Pour a small amount of tattoo ink into a clean ink cup.
  3. Gently dip the tip of the cartridge needle into the ink cup to draw ink into the reservoir.
  4. Activate the machine by pressing the foot pedal. The machine will start running.
  5. Begin practicing on your designated surface. Maintain a steady hand and appropriate needle depth.
  6. Release the foot pedal to stop the machine.
  7. Always practice on synthetic skin before attempting to tattoo on human skin.

5. Maintenance and Care

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your tattoo kit.

  • Cleaning: After each use, disconnect the power and carefully remove the needle cartridge. Dispose of used needles safely in a sharps container. Wipe down the tattoo pen and power supply with a clean, damp cloth. For thorough cleaning, use a disinfectant spray on non-electrical components.
  • Storage: Store all components in the provided carry case in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
