6. Installation Instructions

Before You Begin: Ensure power is turned off at the circuit breaker. Gather necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, safety glasses).

1. Prepare the Mounting Plate: Separate the mounting plate from the fixture by unscrewing the two screw nuts. Attach the mounting plate to your junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
2. Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to your household wiring. Connect the black wire (live) from the fixture to the black wire from the junction box using a wire nut. Connect the white wire (neutral) from the fixture to the white wire from the junction box using a wire nut. Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box and to the mounting plate's ground screw. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Mount the Fixture: Carefully align the fixture's base with the screws on the mounting plate. Secure the fixture to the mounting plate using the two screw nuts.
4. Install the Glass Lampshade: Gently place the clear glass lampshade over the bulb socket. Secure it in place with the locking ring by screwing it onto the socket.
5. Install the Bulb: Screw an E26 medium base bulb (Max 60W, not included) into the socket.

7. Operating Instructions

Once installed and a compatible E26 bulb is in place, restore power at the circuit breaker. Operate the light fixture using your wall switch. If a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch are used, you can adjust the light intensity to your preference.

• Cleaning: To clean the fixture, turn off the power and allow it to cool. Wipe the metal parts with a soft, dry cloth. For the glass shade, use a mild glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the finish.
• Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off before replacing the bulb. Allow the old bulb to cool completely. Unscrew the locking ring, remove the glass shade, then carefully unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new E26 medium base bulb (Max 60W). Reattach the glass shade and locking ring.
