Operating the Tripod

Using Accessories

  • Magic Arm and Phone Clip: The tripod body includes a 3/8" female thread. Attach the magic arm to this thread, then secure the CNC phone clip to the magic arm. This allows for mounting smartphones, LED lights, microphones, or monitors alongside your main camera.
  • Stone Bag: For increased stability, especially in windy conditions, attach the stone bag to the tripod's center hook. Fill the bag with rocks or other weights to lower the tripod's center of gravity.
  • Stainless Steel Spikes: The rubber feet can be replaced with the included stainless steel spikes for better grip on soft or uneven terrain like grass, dirt, or ice. Use the Allen key to swap the feet.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After use, especially in dusty or sandy environments, wipe down the tripod legs and locks with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
  • Lubrication: Periodically check the leg locks and moving parts for smooth operation. If necessary, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the threads of the leg locks.
  • Storage: Store the tripod in its provided storage bag in a dry, cool place to protect it from dust and moisture.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect all screws and connections to ensure they are tight. Use the provided Allen keys for any adjustments.
