5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the PC case and monitor. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the PC case has adequate airflow. Do not block the ventilation openings.
  • Internal Components: Do not attempt to open the PC case unless instructed by technical support, as this may void your warranty.

6. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter.

No Video Display:

  • Ensure the monitor is powered on and its power cable is securely connected.
  • Verify that the video cable (HDMI or VGA) is securely connected to both the PC and the monitor.
  • If the issue persists, it may be related to internal components. In some cases, reseating the RAM modules can resolve this. This should only be attempted by users comfortable with opening the PC case, as it may affect warranty.

No Sound Output:

  • Check that external speakers or headphones are properly connected to the audio output jack on the rear or front panel.
  • Verify that the volume in Windows is not muted and is set to an audible level.
  • Ensure audio drivers are correctly installed. You can check this in Windows Device Manager.

System is Slow:

  • Close unnecessary programs running in the background.
  • Ensure your Windows 10 Trial is updated.
  • Perform regular disk cleanup and defragmentation (for HDD).
