6.1. Photocell and Wall Switch Operation
The light can be controlled via a wall switch or its integrated photocell sensor. It can function as a normally-on or normally-off light, or on a switched circuit.
- Dusk-to-Dawn (Photocell): The integrated photocell sensor automatically turns the light on when it gets dark and off when it gets light.
- Wall Switch Control: When connected to a switched circuit, the light can be manually turned on or off using a standard wall switch.

6.2. Emergency Operation
Regardless of the primary mode of operation, the emergency LED lights will illuminate from battery power upon loss of normal AC power. The built-in 4.8V 1800mAh Nickel Cadmium backup battery provides over 90 minutes of emergency operation.
