The HOPESTAR P20 is a versatile portable Bluetooth speaker featuring super bass sound, FM radio, TF card support, mobile power function, hands-free calling, and IPX6 waterproof rating, making it ideal for outdoor use.

Controls and Ports:
- Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to play/pause.
- Volume Up (+): Short press to increase volume. Long press for next track.
- Volume Down (-): Short press to decrease volume. Long press for previous track.
- Mode Button (M): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, FM Radio, TF Card, and AUX modes.
- Call Button: Short press to answer/end calls. Long press to reject calls. Double press to redial last number.
- USB Port: For charging the speaker and for mobile power output.
- TF Card Slot: Insert a TF (Micro SD) card for music playback.
- AUX Port: Connect external audio devices via 3.5mm audio cable.
- Charging Indicator: LED light indicating charging status.
Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Use the provided USB cable to connect the speaker's charging port to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging.
- The light will turn off or change color once fully charged.
- A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.
2. Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt.
Operating Instructions
1. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a flashing blue LED). If not, short press the 'M' (Mode) button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, computer).
- Search for available Bluetooth devices. You should find "HOPESTAR P20" in the list.
- Select "HOPESTAR P20" to connect. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the blue LED will stop flashing and remain solid.
- You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.
Note: The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.
2. FM Radio Mode
- Short press the 'M' (Mode) button to switch to FM Radio mode.
- To auto-scan and save available FM stations, long press the Play/Pause button. The speaker will scan and store stations automatically.
- Short press the '+' or '-' buttons to switch between saved stations.
3. TF Card Playback
- Insert a TF (Micro SD) card with MP3/WAV/WMA/FLAC/APE music files into the TF card slot.
- The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playing music. If not, short press the 'M' (Mode) button to select TF card mode.
- Use the Play/Pause, '+', and '-' buttons to control playback.
4. AUX Mode
- Connect one end of the 3.5mm AUX cable to the speaker's AUX port and the other end to the audio output jack of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, computer).
- The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode. If not, short press the 'M' (Mode) button to select AUX mode.
- Audio will now play through the speaker. Control playback from your external device.
5. Hands-free Calling
When connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth:
- Answer Call: Short press the Call button.
- End Call: Short press the Call button during a call.
- Reject Call: Long press the Call button when an incoming call rings.
- Redial Last Number: Double press the Call button.
6. TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Function (1+1 Serial Function)
The TWS function allows you to pair two HOPESTAR P20 speakers together for a stereo sound experience.
- Ensure both HOPESTAR P20 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), long press the 'M' (Mode) button or a dedicated TWS button (if available, otherwise try Play/Pause button) until you hear a pairing prompt.
- The two speakers will automatically search and pair with each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
- Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section.
- Audio will now play in stereo through both speakers.
Note: The exact button for TWS pairing might vary. If 'M' button doesn't work, refer to the physical buttons on your speaker for a dedicated TWS icon or try the Play/Pause button.
7. Light Effects
The HOPESTAR P20 features dynamic light effects that can enhance your listening experience.

The speaker offers a six-color pattern with lights that follow the beat. Specific controls for changing light modes or turning them off are usually integrated with a dedicated light button or a long press of the Mode button. Refer to your speaker's physical buttons for exact functionality.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, benzene, or other chemical solvents, as they may damage the casing or finish.
2. Water Resistance (IPX6)

The HOPESTAR P20 is rated IPX6 waterproof, meaning it is protected against powerful water jets. This makes it suitable for outdoor use and can withstand splashes or rain.
- Do not immerse the speaker in water.
- Ensure all port covers are securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
- After exposure to water, wipe the speaker dry before charging or opening port covers.
3. Storage
- Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- If storing for an extended period, charge the battery every 3 months to maintain battery health.
Troubleshooting
