5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Cooking Rice
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. One cup of raw rice typically yields two cups of cooked rice. The cooker has a 1-liter capacity, suitable for 1-3 persons (5 cups of raw rice).
- Wash Rice: Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Add Water: Place the washed rice into one of the aluminium inner pans. Add the appropriate amount of water. The inner pan has water level indicators engraved for easy measurement. A common ratio is 1 cup of rice to 1.5-2 cups of water, depending on the rice type.
- Place Pan: Insert the inner pan with rice and water into the main unit. Ensure the cooking plate is at the bottom of the main unit before placing the inner pan.
- Close Lid: Place the glass lid securely on the rice cooker.
- Start Cooking: Plug in the power cord. Press the "COOK" switch down. The "COOK" indicator light will illuminate.
- Automatic Keep Warm: Once the rice is cooked, the cooker will automatically switch to the "WARM" function, and the "WARM" indicator light will illuminate.
- Serve: Allow the rice to rest for 5-10 minutes on "WARM" for best results. Use the provided rice scoop to serve.
