Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the operation and maintenance of your FanJu FJ3531 Alarm Clock. This digital alarm clock features time and temperature projection, dual alarms with snooze, a large LED display, and a USB charging port for your electronic devices. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper functionality and longevity of your device.

Setup

Power Supply

The FanJu FJ3531 Alarm Clock can be powered by two methods:

1. USB Power Cable (Recommended): Connect the included USB power cable to the clock and a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port. When powered by USB, the backlight can remain lit continuously and offers brightness adjustments.
2. AAA Batteries (Not Included): Insert 2 x AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Batteries are primarily for backup power and temporary use; the backlight will only illuminate for 8 seconds when a button is pressed to conserve battery life.

Operating Instructions

Basic Functions Overview

Setting Time and Date

Detailed steps for setting the time, 12/24 hour format, and calendar with language selection will be provided here. (Note: Specific button names and sequences are not provided in the source data, so general instructions are given.)

1. Press the "TIME" button to enter time setting mode.
2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the hour, minute, year, month, and day.
3. Press "TIME" again to confirm each setting and move to the next.
4. To select language for the calendar (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Netherlands, Danish), navigate to the language setting using the "TIME" button and adjust with "+" or "-".

Alarm Settings

The clock supports double alarms.

1. Press the "ALARM" button to select Alarm 1 or Alarm 2.
2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired alarm time.
3. Press "ALARM" again to confirm.
4. To activate/deactivate an alarm, use the dedicated alarm ON/OFF switch or button (refer to device for exact control).

Snooze Function

When an alarm is sounding, touch the "light/snooze" button to activate the snooze function. The snooze icon will twinkle on the display. This will pause the alarm for 5 minutes, after which it will sound again. To interrupt the snooze function, press any other button.

Note: If a second alarm is set and sounds while the first alarm is in snooze mode, the first alarm's snooze function will automatically stop.

Backlight Control

• Battery Power: At any time, touch the "light/snooze" button to illuminate the backlight for 8 seconds.
• USB Power: When powered by the USB cable, the backlight offers 4 brightness modes: light, medium, low, and off. Each touch of the "light/snooze" button cycles through these modes. The backlight can remain lit continuously in USB power mode.

Time and Temperature Projection

The projection lamp on the right side of the product can project the current time and indoor temperature onto a wall or ceiling, allowing for easy viewing at night.

• Activation: Use the ON/OFF button for the projection feature.
• Projection Angle: The projection angle can be adjusted to suit your viewing preference. If the projection direction is not correct, press the button located behind the middle of the projection lens to rotate the image.
• Continuous Projection: When using the USB power cable, the projection can remain permanently on.

USB Charging Function

The clock features a USB charging port on its left side. When the clock is powered via its USB cable, you can use this port to charge electronic devices such as mobile phones or PDAs.

Maintenance

• Clean the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
• If using batteries, remove them if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
