4.2 Wire Installation:

  1. Open the wire feed compartment.
  2. Mount the appropriate wire spool (2 lb or 10 lb) onto the spindle.
  3. Thread the welding wire through the drive roller and into the MIG gun liner.
  4. Ensure the drive roller tension is set correctly for the wire diameter. Use the W Knurl Drive Roller for flux-cored wire.
  5. Close the compartment.
  6. Use the Manual Wire Feed button (5 on control panel) to feed the wire through the MIG gun until it exits the nozzle.

4.3 Gas Connection (for Gas MIG):

  • Connect the gas hose (5) to the gas inlet on the rear of the welder and to your shielding gas cylinder regulator.
  • For Gas MIG, recommended gases are CO2 or 25% CO2 / 75% Argon (MAG).
  • Ensure all connections are tight to prevent gas leaks.
  • Use the Gas Check button (4 on control panel) to verify gas flow.

For Gasless MIG (Flux-Cored), no external shielding gas is required. Ensure the correct polarity is set for flux-cored wire (typically DCEN - electrode negative).

5. Operating Instructions

The YESWELDER MIG-200 offers multiple welding processes. Select the appropriate mode and settings for your application.

5.1 Selecting Welding Mode:

  • Turn on the welder.
  • Use the Welding Method Selection button (2 on control panel) to choose between:
    • MIG/CO2: For solid wire with CO2 shielding gas.
    • Gasless: For flux-cored wire without shielding gas.
    • MAG: For solid wire with Argon/CO2 mix shielding gas.
    • Lift TIG: For TIG welding (requires optional TIG torch, not included).

The Synergic Control function simplifies setup by automatically adjusting voltage and wire feed speed. By selecting the material thickness or adjusting the amperage, the machine will automatically set optimal parameters based on its internal welding chart data.

  • Use the Value Knob (7) to adjust the amperage or select the material thickness.
  • The digital display (6) will show the corresponding voltage and wire feed speed.

  • Press the 2T/4T button (1) to toggle between modes:
    • 2T (2-Stroke): Press and hold the trigger to weld; release to stop. Ideal for spot welding and short welds.
    • 4T (4-Stroke): Press and release the trigger to start welding; press and release again to stop. Suitable for continuous, long-duration welding, reducing finger fatigue.
