1. Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the AIDITIYMI ZH/JT-03 ZHJT03 replacement remote control. This remote is designed to operate various Chigo Air Conditioner models without requiring any programming or pairing. Simply install the batteries, and the remote will be ready for use.

2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
The remote control requires two (2) AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the cover downwards or press the latch and lift to open the compartment.
- Insert two new 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

Once batteries are installed, the remote is ready for immediate use with compatible Chigo Air Conditioner models. No additional programming or pairing is required.
3. Operating Instructions
Point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on your Chigo Air Conditioner unit. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the air conditioner.

3.1 Button Functions
- ON/OFF: Powers the air conditioner on or off.
- MODE: Cycles through operating modes (e.g., Auto, Cool, Dry, Heat, Fan). The current mode is displayed on the remote's screen.
- TEMP ▲ / ▼: Adjusts the temperature setting upwards or downwards.
- FAN SPEED: Adjusts the fan speed (e.g., Low, Medium, High, Auto).
- SWING: Controls the vertical louver movement for air direction.
- AIR FLOW: Controls the horizontal louver movement for air direction.
- TIMER: Sets a timer for the air conditioner to turn on or off. Refer to your air conditioner's manual for specific timer settings.
- HOLD: Activates or deactivates a hold function, often used to maintain a specific setting.
- SLEEP: Activates the sleep mode, which adjusts temperature and fan speed for comfortable sleep.
- TURBO: Activates maximum cooling or heating for rapid temperature change.
- LAMP: Controls the display light on the air conditioner unit.
- CLEAN: Initiates a self-cleaning function on the air conditioner unit, if available.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Remote Control
To clean the remote control, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive materials, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the remote's surface or internal components.
4.2 Battery Care
- Replace batteries when the remote's performance degrades or the display becomes dim.
- Remove batteries if the remote control will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage.
- Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
5. Troubleshooting
If the remote control is not functioning as expected, consider the following:
- Remote not responding: Check if the batteries are correctly installed with the correct polarity (+/-). Replace with new AAA alkaline batteries if necessary.
- No signal to air conditioner: Ensure you are pointing the remote directly at the air conditioner's infrared receiver. Remove any obstructions between the remote and the unit.
- Limited range: The remote has a maximum range of 32 feet (approximately 10 meters). Ensure you are within this range. Bright sunlight or strong artificial light can sometimes interfere with the infrared signal.
- Air conditioner not responding to specific functions: Verify that your specific Chigo Air Conditioner model supports the function you are trying to use (e.g., CLEAN, AIR FLOW). Some functions may be specific to certain AC models.
