Control Buttons:

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. A full charge takes approximately 3-4 hours.

1. Open the waterproof cover on the side of the speaker.
2. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
3. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
4. The power indicator light will show charging status. Once fully charged, the light will change or turn off depending on the model.
5. After charging, securely close the waterproof cover to maintain IPX7 rating.

5.2 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns on.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns off.

5.3 Bluetooth Pairing

Pair your speaker with a Bluetooth-enabled device.

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicator light will flash).
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Ortizan X8 Pro" or "Ortizan X10" from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.

5.4 Wireless Stereo Pairing (TWS)

For an immersive stereo sound experience, you can pair two identical Ortizan speakers together.

Important Note: The Ortizan X8 Pro and X10 Blue speakers are sold as a bundled product but do not support TWS pairing with each other. Only two Ortizan X8 Pro speakers can be paired together, or two Ortizan X10 Blue speakers can be paired together for stereo sound.

1. Ensure both identical speakers are powered on and disconnected from any Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the master speaker), double-press the Power button (⏻). It will enter TWS pairing mode.
3. The master speaker will automatically search for the other identical speaker.
4. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the indicator lights on both speakers will change to indicate TWS connection.
5. Now, connect your device to the master speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.3. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.

6. Operation

6.1 Music Playback Controls

• Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button (▶︎/‖).
• Volume Up: Short press the Volume Up button (+).
• Volume Down: Short press the Volume Down button (-).
• Next Track: Long press the Volume Up button (+).
• Previous Track: Long press the Volume Down button (-).

6.2 Call Management

The speaker has a built-in microphone for hands-free calls.

• Answer Call: Short press the Call/Voice Assistant button (📞) when a call comes in.
• End Call: Short press the Call/Voice Assistant button (📞) during a call.
• Reject Call: Long press the Call/Voice Assistant button (📞) when a call comes in.

6.3 Light Modes

The speaker features dynamic LED lights with 7 colors and 6 lighting modes.

• Change Light Mode: Short press the Light Mode button (💡) to cycle through available modes.

6.4 Voice Assistant

Activate your device's voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, etc.) through the speaker.

• Activate Voice Assistant: Long press the Call/Voice Assistant button (📞).

6.5 Waterproof Usage (IPX7)

The speaker is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) for up to 30 minutes.

• Ensure the USB-C charging port and AUX-in port covers are securely sealed before exposing the speaker to water.
• Do not expose the speaker to saltwater or other chemicals, as this may damage the seals.
• After exposure to water, wipe the speaker dry with a soft cloth before charging or opening the port covers.
