3. Setup Guide

3.1. Battery Installation

Before using the remote, install two AAA batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the battery compartment.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote.
  2. Insert two new AAA batteries, matching the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals with the markings in the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2. Programming Your Remote

The remote is preprogrammed for LG TVs. For other devices, use one of the following programming methods:

3.2.1. Automatic Code Search

This method scans through codes to find the correct one for your device.

  1. Turn on the device you wish to program (e.g., Blu-ray player).
  2. Press and hold the desired device button (e.g., B-RAY) until the indicator light turns on.
  3. While holding the device button, press and release the POWER button. The indicator light will blink.
  4. Point the remote at the device and repeatedly press the POWER button until the device turns off.
  5. Once the device turns off, immediately press the OK button to save the code. The indicator light will turn off.
  6. Test the remote's functions with the device. If some functions do not work, repeat the process to find a better code.

3.2.2. Direct Code Entry

  1. Turn on the device you wish to program.
