  3. Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the itel logo appears on the screen.
  4. Initial Configuration: Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, connect to a Wi-Fi network, and set up your Google account.
  5. Google Kids Space: If setting up for a child, you can configure Google Kids Space during the initial setup or later through the settings.

5. Basic Operation

Navigation:

  • Touch: Tap icons to open apps or select items.
  • Swipe: Move your finger across the screen to scroll, switch between home screens, or navigate within apps.
  • Pinch-to-Zoom: Use two fingers to zoom in or out on images, maps, or web pages.
  • Long Press: Press and hold an item for additional options or to move it.

Status Bar and Notifications:

The status bar at the top of the screen displays important information such as time, battery level, Wi-Fi signal, and notification icons. Swipe down from the top of the screen to access the notification panel and quick settings.

6. Connectivity

Wi-Fi:

To connect to a Wi-Fi network:

  1. Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi.
  2. Toggle Wi-Fi On.
  3. Select your desired network from the list and enter the password if required.

4G VoLTE Calling:

The itel PAD ONE supports 4G VoLTE calling. Ensure a compatible SIM card is inserted and activated. You can make and receive calls directly from your tablet.

Bluetooth:

To pair with a Bluetooth device:

  1. Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth.
  2. Toggle Bluetooth On.
  3. Select Pair new device and choose your device from the available list.

7. Camera Usage

Your itel PAD ONE tablet is equipped with an 8MP wide-angle front camera and a 5MP rear camera with flash.

  1. Open Camera App: Tap the Camera icon on your home screen or app drawer.
  2. Switch Cameras: Tap the camera switch icon to toggle between the front and rear cameras.
  3. Take Photos: Tap the Shutter button to capture a photo.
  4. Record Videos: Switch to video mode and tap the Record button to start/stop recording.
  5. Flash: For the rear camera, tap the flash icon to enable/disable or set to auto.

8. Google Kids Space

Google Kids Space offers a safe and engaging environment for children to explore apps, books, and videos. It requires a Google account for your child and can be managed by parents through Family Link.

  1. Access Kids Space: During initial setup, you can choose to set up Google Kids Space. If skipped, you can find the Kids Space icon in your app drawer.
  2. Parental Controls: Use the Google Family Link app on your own device to manage screen time, app approvals, and content filters for your child's Kids Space profile.

9. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of the tablet. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Life: To optimize battery life, reduce screen brightness, close unused apps, and disable Wi-Fi/Bluetooth when not in use.
  • Software Updates: Regularly check for and install system updates to ensure optimal performance and security. Go to Settings > System > System update.
  • Storage Management: Periodically clear cache, uninstall unused apps, and transfer large files to external storage to free up internal memory.
  • Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the tablet to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or excessive moisture.
