Introduction

The AGLUCKY Nugget Ice Maker is a portable countertop appliance designed to provide you with soft, chewable nugget ice quickly and efficiently. Unlike traditional hard ice cubes, nugget ice is known for cooling drinks fast while retaining flavor, offering a unique and enjoyable experience.

This machine is capable of producing up to 35 lbs of pebble ice per day, with the first batch ready in approximately 7 minutes. It features a user-friendly design with a transparent lid to monitor ice production, an integrated ice basket, and a convenient ice scoop holder.

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
2. Placement: Place the unit on a stable, level surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the back and sides of the machine, as it expels hot air during operation. Avoid placing it too close to walls or cabinets.
3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, it is recommended to clean the unit. Remove the ice basket and wash it with mild detergent and warm water. Wipe the interior of the water reservoir with a soft cloth.
4. Add Water: Fill the water reservoir located at the bottom of the unit with potable water up to the 'MAX' water level line. Using filtered water is recommended for best ice quality.
5. Insert Ice Basket: Place the removable ice basket back into its position inside the unit.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. The control panel is very easy to use.
2. Start Ice Production: Press the 'ICE/CLEAN' button once to begin the ice making cycle. The indicator light will illuminate.
3. Monitor Ice Production: The transparent lid allows you to observe the ice making process. The 'ICE FULL' indicator light will turn on when the ice basket is full, and the machine will pause production.
4. Add Water Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the 'ADD WATER' indicator light will turn on, prompting you to refill the reservoir.
5. Scooping Ice: Use the provided ice scoop to retrieve the nugget ice from the basket. The ice scoop can be conveniently stored in the holder on the back of the unit when not in use.

Maintenance

1. Self-Cleaning Function: To activate the self-cleaning cycle, press and hold the 'ICE/CLEAN' button for 5 seconds. The cleaning process takes approximately 15 minutes. After cleaning, open the rubber plug at the bottom of the ice maker to drain the dirty water.
2. Regular Cleaning: For optimal performance and hygiene, clean the ice maker regularly (e.g., weekly). Drain any remaining water from the reservoir and wipe down all internal surfaces.
3. Ice Storage: Note that the nugget ice produced is soft and may freeze together if stored in a freezer for extended periods. If this occurs, you may need to gently break it apart before use.
