5. Setup

  1. Unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.
  2. Place the yogurt maker on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Wash the water draining filter, dedicated spoon, and resin container with mild detergent and warm water, then dry thoroughly.
  4. Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical outlet.

6. Operation

6.1. Making Yogurt (Using a Milk Carton)

  1. Open both sides of the milk carton spout completely.
  2. Add your desired starter culture (e.g., plain yogurt, yogurt starter powder) to the milk carton using the dedicated spoon. Stir well until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Place the milk carton into the main unit. Cover the carton with the provided lid and then place the main unit's outer cover.
  4. Set the desired temperature and fermentation time using the control panel. Press START/STOP to begin fermentation.

6.2. Making Yogurt (Using the Resin Container)

  1. Sterilize the resin container by boiling or using a sterilizing solution. Pour 500ml of milk into the container.
  2. Add your desired starter culture to the milk in the container using the dedicated spoon. Stir well until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Close the container with its lid. Place the container into the main unit and then place the main unit's outer cover.
  4. Set the desired temperature and fermentation time using the control panel. Press START/STOP to begin fermentation.

6.3. Making Greek Yogurt

After making regular yogurt, you can use the water draining filter to create Greek yogurt:

  1. Once your regular yogurt is ready, carefully transfer it into the water draining filter.
  2. Place the water draining filter, with the yogurt inside, into the main unit or a refrigerator.
  3. Allow the whey to drain for several hours. The longer the draining time, the thicker and firmer your Greek yogurt will be. Adjust to your preferred consistency.

6.4. Control Panel and Settings

The control panel allows you to set temperature, time, and select pre-programmed menus.

  • TEMP/TIMER Button: Use to adjust the temperature (25°C to 70°C) and time (0.5 to 99 hours).
  • MENU Button: Select from pre-programmed auto menus such as Plain Yogurt, Soy Milk Yogurt, Amazake, and Shio Koji.
  • MY BUTTON: Save your frequently used custom temperature and time settings for quick access. Press and hold to save, then press briefly to recall.
  • START/STOP Button: Start or stop the operation.
  • Up/Down Arrows: Adjust temperature and time values.
