Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use of the Bellababy Baby Bedside Sleeper. Keep this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Infants can suffocate in gaps between an extra mattress and the side of the bassinet/crib, or on soft bedding. Use ONLY the mattress provided by the manufacturer. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding.
• FALL HAZARD: To prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees, or has reached 20 lbs (9 kg), whichever comes first.
• Ensure all assembly fasteners are securely tightened before use. Periodically check fasteners for tightness.
• Do not use the bassinet if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken. Contact Bellababy for replacement parts. Do not substitute parts.
• Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
• Do not place the bassinet near windows where cords from blinds or drapes could strangle a child.
• Do not use this bassinet as a co-sleeper unless securely attached to an adult bed according to instructions.

Setup and Assembly

The Bellababy Baby Bedside Sleeper is designed for quick and easy assembly without the need for tools.

Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify all components are present according to the packing list.
2. Assemble Frame: Extend the main frame components until they click into place. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged.
3. Attach Fabric Bassinet: Secure the fabric bassinet portion to the frame. Ensure all zippers and fasteners are properly attached.
4. Insert Mattress: Place the provided mattress firmly into the bassinet.
5. Attach Storage Basket: Secure the storage basket to the designated hooks or slots underneath the bassinet frame.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Height:

The bassinet offers 7 levels of height adjustment to seamlessly align with your adult bed.

1. Locate the height adjustment buttons/levers on both sides of the bassinet frame.
2. Simultaneously press the buttons and raise or lower the bassinet to the desired height.
3. Ensure both sides are locked into the same height setting before placing the infant inside.

Using as a Bedside Sleeper (Co-Sleeping):

To use the bassinet as a bedside sleeper, lower one side of the bassinet and secure it to your adult bed using the provided straps (if applicable).

• Adjust the bassinet height to match your bed's mattress height.
• Unzip and lower the side panel closest to your bed.
• Position the bassinet flush against your bed.
• Secure the bassinet to your bed using the attachment straps (if included) to prevent any gap formation.

Portability and Mobility:

The bassinet is equipped with 360-degree swivel casters with brakes for easy movement between rooms.

• To move the bassinet, ensure the brakes on all casters are disengaged.
• Carefully push or pull the bassinet to its new location.
• Once in position, engage the brakes on all casters to secure the bassinet.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your Bellababy Baby Bedside Sleeper.

Cleaning Instructions:

• Fabric Components: All fabric parts are removable and washable. Unzip and detach the fabric from the frame. Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Do not bleach. Air dry or tumble dry on low heat.
• Frame and Hard Surfaces: Wipe the frame and plastic components with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Mattress: The mattress cover can be removed and washed following the fabric care instructions. Wipe the mattress pad with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry completely before reassembling.

Storage:

When not in use, the bassinet can be easily folded for compact storage.

• Disassemble the bassinet by reversing the assembly steps.
• Fold the frame components inward.
• Store all parts in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
