  3. Handle
  4. Power Button / Steam Trigger
  5. Power Cord
  6. Indicator Light
  7. Brush Head Attachment (for delicate fabrics/jackets)

Setup

1. Filling the Water Tank

  • Ensure the iron is unplugged from the power outlet.
  • Remove the water tank from the main unit.
  • Open the water tank cap and fill with clean tap water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
  • Close the water tank cap securely and reattach the tank to the iron until it clicks into place.

2. Power Connection

  • Place the iron on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
  • Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V). The indicator light will illuminate.

Operating Instructions

1. Preheating

  • Once plugged in, the iron will begin to heat up. The indicator light will show when it is ready for use (this may vary by model, refer to the light behavior for readiness).
  • Allow approximately 30-60 seconds for the iron to reach optimal steaming temperature.

2. Steaming Garments

  • Hang the garment on a hanger.
  • Hold the iron upright, keeping the steam nozzle a few centimeters away from the fabric.
  • Press the steam trigger/button to release steam. Move the iron slowly up and down the garment, allowing the steam to penetrate the fibers and relax wrinkles.
  • For stubborn wrinkles, hold the iron closer to the fabric and apply steam for a longer duration.

3. Using the Brush Head Attachment

  • Ensure the iron is cool and unplugged before attaching or detaching the brush head.
  • Align the brush head with the steam nozzle and press firmly until it locks into place.
  • The brush head is ideal for thicker fabrics, jackets, and evening dresses, helping to lift fibers and improve steam penetration.
  • Follow the steaming instructions above with the brush head attached.

4. After Use

  • Release the steam trigger and unplug the iron from the power outlet.
  • Allow the iron to cool down completely before emptying the water tank and storing.

Maintenance and Cleaning

1. Emptying the Water Tank

  • After each use, once the iron has cooled, remove the water tank.
  • Open the cap and pour out any remaining water.
  • Allow the tank to air dry before reattaching or storing.

2. Cleaning the Exterior

  • Wipe the exterior of the iron with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the surface.

3. Descaling

  • Over time, mineral deposits may accumulate in the water tank and steam passages, especially in areas with hard water.
  • To descale, fill the water tank with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water.
  • Heat the iron and allow it to steam for several minutes (in a well-ventilated area).
  • Repeat with clean water to rinse out any vinegar residue.
  • Perform descaling every few months or as needed based on water hardness and usage.
