Introduction
The Brother QL-810Wc Professional Label Printer is a high-speed thermal label printer designed for efficient label creation. Setup
1. Physical Setup
- Place the printer on a stable, flat surface.
- Connect the AC power adapter to the printer and then to a power outlet.
- For USB connection, connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer.
- For Wi-Fi connection, ensure your wireless router is powered on and within range. The printer supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

2. Software Installation
- Visit the official Brother support website for your model (QL-810Wc) to download the latest drivers and P-touch Editor software.
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- For mobile printing, download the Brother iPrint&Label app from your device's app store (iOS/Android).
3. Loading Label Rolls
- Open the top cover of the printer.
- Insert the label roll into the printer, ensuring the label feeds correctly through the guide. The label should be face down.
- Close the top cover. The printer will automatically detect the label type and size.

Operating Instructions
1. Printing from a Computer
- Launch the P-touch Editor software on your computer.
- Design your label using the available tools, including text, images, and barcodes.
- Select the appropriate label roll type and size in the software settings.
- Click the 'Print' button. The printer will automatically cut the label after printing.
2. Printing from a Mobile Device
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your QL-810Wc printer.
- Open the Brother iPrint&Label app.
- Select your printer from the device list within the app.
- Create or select a label design and send it to the printer.

3. Black and Red Printing
To utilize the black and red printing feature, you must use the Brother DK-2251 Continuous Red/Black Length Paper Tape. This special tape allows for two-color printing, enhancing visibility for warnings, important dates, or branding elements.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Printer
- Regularly clean the print head and platen roller using a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol for stubborn residue.
- Ensure the printer is unplugged before cleaning.
2. Replacing Label Rolls
- Open the top cover and remove the empty label roll.
- Insert a new Brother DK series label roll, ensuring it is properly seated and the label feeds straight.
- Close the top cover. The printer will calibrate to the new roll.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Printer Not Responding: Check power connections, USB cable, and Wi-Fi status. Restart the printer and computer/mobile device.
- Poor Print Quality: Ensure the correct label type is selected in the software. Clean the print head. Replace the label roll if it's old or damaged.
- Label Jams: Open the cover, carefully remove any jammed labels, and ensure the label roll is inserted correctly.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues: Verify your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password. Ensure the printer is within range of your router. Note that the printer supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only.
