3. Controls and Functions

Figure 2: Overview of Pedal Controls
- Mode Selector Knob: Rotates to select one of the four modulation effects: Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, or Tremolo.
- DC 9V Input: Connects to a 9V DC center-negative power supply (not included).
- Input Jack: 1/4-inch audio input for your guitar or other instrument.
- Level Knob: Adjusts the overall output volume of the effect.
- Tone Knob: Controls the tone or brightness of the modulated signal.
- Depth Knob: Adjusts the intensity or depth of the selected modulation effect.
- Rate Knob: Controls the speed of the selected modulation effect. This knob is overridden by the Tap Tempo function when active.
- Output Jack: 1/4-inch audio output to your amplifier or next pedal in the chain.
- ON/OFF Footswitch: Engages or disengages the effect. The LED indicates the effect status (on/off).
- TAP Footswitch: Used for Tap Tempo. Tap this footswitch two or more times to set the rate of the modulation effect. The LED will blink to indicate the set tempo.
4. Setup
To set up your SONICAKE Warped Dimension pedal, follow these steps:
- Power Connection: Connect a standard 9V DC center-negative power supply (5.5x2.1mm connector) to the DC 9V input jack (2). Ensure the power supply meets the specified voltage and polarity requirements.
- Instrument Connection: Connect your guitar or other instrument to the Input Jack (3) using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
- Output Connection: Connect the Output Jack (8) to your amplifier or the next pedal in your signal chain using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
- Power On: Once all connections are secure, apply power to the pedal. The ON/OFF LED (9) will illuminate when the pedal is active.

5. Operating Modes
The pedal offers four distinct modulation modes, selectable via the Mode Selector Knob (1):
- Chorus: Produces a rich, shimmering effect by slightly detuning and delaying the original signal.
- Flanger: Creates a sweeping, jet-like sound by mixing a delayed, phase-shifted signal with the original.
- Phaser: Generates a swirling, psychedelic effect by creating phase shifts in the signal.
- Tremolo: Modulates the volume of the signal, creating a pulsating effect.

Tap Tempo Function
The Tap Tempo function allows you to set the modulation rate in real-time:
- Engage the desired modulation effect using the ON/OFF Footswitch (9).
- Tap the TAP Footswitch (10) two or more times in rhythm with your desired tempo. The LED on the TAP footswitch will blink to indicate the set rate.
- The Rate Knob (7) will be overridden by the Tap Tempo setting until the pedal is powered off or the rate is manually adjusted again.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your pedal:
- Keep the pedal clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the pedal to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the pedal yourself, as this may void the warranty.
- Always use the correct power supply (9V DC center-negative) to prevent damage.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Sound: Check all cable connections (instrument, amplifier, power). Ensure the power supply is correctly connected and functioning. Verify the pedal is engaged (LED on).
- Weak or Distorted Sound: Check instrument and amplifier volume levels. Ensure the Level knob on the pedal is not set too low or too high. Test with different cables.
- Effect Not Engaging: Confirm the power supply is connected and providing power. Press the ON/OFF footswitch firmly.
- Modulation Rate Issues: If using Tap Tempo, ensure you have tapped the footswitch at least twice. If not using Tap Tempo, adjust the Rate knob (7).
