3.1 General Safety

  • Work Area Safety: Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.

3.2 Pruning Shears Specific Safety

  • Accidental Activation Prevention: To prevent accidental activation, always release the trigger twice and turn off the battery switch before handling or storing the shears. Remove the battery after use.
  • Blade Safety: The blades are sharp. Handle with extreme care. Never touch the blades when the tool is powered on.
  • Battery Safety: Use only the specified charger for the battery pack. Do not attempt to open or modify the battery pack. Store batteries away from metal objects that could short the terminals.

  • Ensure the blades are clean and sharp before starting.
  • Position the branch to be cut between the open blades. The maximum cutting diameter is 30mm.
  • Press the trigger firmly to make a clean cut. The arc-shaped blades are designed to adapt to branches and create a flat cutting surface, minimizing damage to plant branches.
  • Avoid forcing the shears through branches thicker than the maximum capacity.

  • Sharpening: The blades are forged from tungsten steel. Use the included sharpening stone to maintain blade sharpness. Refer to the replacement blades for proper sharpening angles.
  • Lubrication: Periodically apply a light oil to the pivot points and blades to ensure smooth operation and prevent rust.
