1. Setup

This section guides you through the assembly process of your new Misolant Office Chair. Please ensure all parts are present before beginning assembly.

1.1. Unboxing and Parts Identification

Carefully open the packaging and remove all components. Lay them out to identify each part against the provided list in your physical manual. The main components include the seat cushion, backrest, armrests, chair base, gas lift, and casters.

1.2. Assembly Instructions

1. Assemble the Chair Base: Insert the five metal legs into the central hub of the chair base. Secure them using the provided screws (J, M6x20mm) and the Allen wrench. Once the legs are secure, insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg. Finally, insert the gas lift into the central hole of the assembled base.
2. Attach the Seat Mechanism: Align the seat mechanism (base plate) with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the 'FRONT' marking on the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure the mechanism using the provided screws (M, M6x20mm).
3. Connect Seat to Base: Carefully place the assembled seat cushion onto the gas lift, ensuring it is securely seated.
4. Attach Armrests: Align the armrests with the side holes on the seat cushion. Secure them using the provided screws (K, M6x30mm). Ensure they are firmly attached.
5. Attach Backrest: Align the backrest with the remaining holes on the armrests. Secure the backrest to the armrests using the provided screws (L, M6x30mm).

After assembly, ensure all screws are tightened and the chair is stable before use.

2. Operating Your Misolant Office Chair

Your Misolant office chair is designed with several adjustable features to enhance your comfort and support during use.

2.1. Adjusting Chair Height

To adjust the chair's height, locate the lever on the right side, beneath the seat. To raise the chair, lift the lever while taking your weight off the seat. To lower the chair, lift the lever while remaining seated. Release the lever at your desired height.

2.2. Rocking Function and Tilt Control

The chair features a 2:1 synchro rocking motion, allowing you to recline between 90 and 115 degrees. To activate the rocking function, pull out the height adjustment lever. To lock the chair in an upright position, push the lever in. The tension of the rocking motion can be adjusted using the round knob located beneath the seat. Turn it clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

2.3. Flip-Up Armrests

The armrests on your Misolant chair are designed to flip up, allowing you to push the chair closer to your desk or save space when not in use. Simply lift the armrests upwards until they lock into the vertical position. To lower them, gently pull them down.

  Solution: Ensure the gas lift lever is fully engaged or disengaged as required. Check if the gas lift cylinder is properly inserted into the base and the seat mechanism. If the issue persists, the gas lift may need replacement.
• Casters Not Rolling Smoothly:
  Solution: Inspect the casters for any trapped debris, hair, or lint. Clean them thoroughly. Ensure the casters are fully inserted into the chair base.
• Rocking Function Not Engaging/Disengaging:
  Solution: Verify that the height adjustment lever is pulled out to enable rocking and pushed in to lock. Adjust the tilt tension knob to ensure it's not too tight or too loose, which might prevent the mechanism from functioning correctly.
