Installation Guide
Follow these steps to properly install your 70mai A500S Dash Cam system.
- Prepare the Windshield: Clean the area on your windshield where the dash cam will be mounted. Ensure it is free of dust and grease for optimal adhesive performance.
- Apply Electrostatic Sticker: Place the electrostatic sticker on the recommended upper area of your front windshield, typically behind the rearview mirror. Smooth out any air bubbles.
- Mount the Front Dash Cam: Peel off the protective film from the adhesive sticker on the dash cam mount. Firmly press the dash cam onto the electrostatic sticker. Ensure the lens has a clear view of the road.
- Install the Rear Camera: For the rear camera, peel off the protective film from its adhesive and attach it to the rear windshield. Route the rear camera lead wire along the top of the rear windshield, down the C-pillar, and along the side windows to the main dash cam unit.
- Connect Power Supply: Plug the Mini USB 8PIN power cable into the main dash cam unit. Use the included Dual USB Car Charger to connect to your vehicle's 12V power outlet. For 24-hour parking monitoring, the optional 70mai Hardwire Kit (ASIN:B08R5SBKZR) is required and sold separately.
- Adjust Camera Angle: Power on the dash cam and adjust the front and rear camera angles to ensure optimal recording coverage. The front camera captures a 140° field of view, and the rear camera captures 130°.
- Insert MicroSD Card: Insert a microSD card (16-128GB, U1 and above, sold separately) into the designated slot on the dash cam. The device supports seamless loop recording, overwriting the oldest files when the card is full.

Operating Your Dash Cam
2.7K Dual-Channel Recording
The A500S records simultaneously from both front (2592*1944P) and rear (1920x1080P) cameras, providing a comprehensive record of your journey. The wide 140° front and 130° rear viewing angles capture multiple lanes and surrounding environments.
Super Night Vision
Equipped with a Sony IMX335 image sensor and a large F1.8 aperture, the dash cam excels in low-light conditions. It enhances light transmittance and reduces visual blind spots, ensuring clear recording of details like license plates and pedestrians at night.

Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)
The ADAS feature actively monitors your driving environment and provides real-time voice warnings for potential hazards such as lane departure and forward collision, helping to prevent accidents.

Built-in GPS & Route Tracking
The integrated GPS module accurately records your geographic location and driving trajectory, allowing you to review and analyze your trips at any time. All data is saved locally on the microSD card.
24-Hour Parking Monitoring
When your vehicle is stationary, the dash cam automatically activates and records upon detecting sudden shakes or collisions, providing continuous protection. Voice alerts notify you of any incidents once the device is turned back on. (Requires optional 70mai Hardwire Kit).
Seamless Loop Recording
The dash cam automatically overwrites the oldest video files with new content when the microSD card is full, ensuring continuous recording without manual intervention. Emergency locked videos are protected from being overwritten.

Built-in WiFi & App Control
Connect the A500S to the 70mai APP via built-in Wi-Fi to easily preview, download, and share videos. You can also adjust camera settings and perform Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware updates directly through the app.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the dash cam lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear video quality. Avoid using abrasive materials or chemical cleaners.
- MicroSD Card Management: Periodically format your microSD card (at least once a month) using the dash cam's settings to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Use a high-quality microSD card (U1 or higher) from a reputable brand.
- Firmware Updates: Check for and install firmware updates via the 70mai APP to ensure your dash cam has the latest features and bug fixes.
