FORLIGHT Merak Ceiling Fan with Integrated Light

Model: VE-0028-NEG

Brand: Forlight

Introduction

The Merak ceiling fan, designed as a flush mount, features an industrial-style design resembling a cage or a conventional fan integrated into the ceiling. This fan has blades integrated within the flush mount, so they do not protrude, making it ideal for low ceilings. Additionally, its natural finish perfectly complements Nordic, minimalist, or natural-themed decor.

The Merak fan includes a dimmable LED lamp with adjustable intensity and temperature (2700-6000K), allowing you to create the desired ambiance in your room. It offers 6 different speeds and a programmable automatic shut-off, making it very versatile and easy to use. This ceiling fan is ideal for any room in your home, as it can be used in the bedroom, living room, or kitchen. Furthermore, its winter-summer function allows the blades to rotate counter-clockwise to produce cool air in summer, or clockwise to distribute warm air accumulated at the top of the room in winter, which is ideal for saving on heating costs. In summary, the Merak fan is an excellent choice if you are looking for a ceiling fan with an industrial design and comprehensive functionality.

Winter/Summer Function

The Merak fan features a reversible motor for year-round comfort:

  • Summer Mode (Counter-clockwise rotation): The fan blades rotate counter-clockwise, pushing air downwards to create a cooling breeze. This mode is ideal for warmer months.
  • Winter Mode (Clockwise rotation): The fan blades rotate clockwise, drawing air upwards to circulate warm air that accumulates near the ceiling. This helps to distribute heat more evenly throughout the room, potentially saving on heating costs.

To switch between modes, locate the direction switch on the fan body or use the dedicated button on the remote control if available.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Regular cleaning will help maintain the appearance and performance of your fan.

  • Always turn off the power to the fan at the circuit breaker before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the fan housing and blades. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
  • For the integrated LED light, gently wipe the diffuser with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid direct contact with water.
  • Ensure the fan is completely dry before restoring power.
