Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

  • Ensure proper installation by securing the greenhouse against a structure, burying base poles, and using cords and ground stakes.
  • Be cautious while handling the steel frame and cover as they may have sharp edges.
  • Only purchase genuine products from authorized sellers.
  • Always secure the greenhouse against strong winds. Consider additional anchoring methods beyond the provided stakes in areas prone to severe weather.
  • Do not use open flames or heating devices inside the greenhouse without adequate ventilation and supervision.
  • Keep children and pets away from the assembly area.
  • Regularly inspect the frame and cover for any signs of wear or damage. Replace damaged parts immediately.

Step 1: Prepare the Site

Choose a level, well-drained area for your greenhouse. Clear any debris or vegetation. For optimal stability, consider digging a shallow trench around the perimeter to bury the extra-long ground flaps of the cover.

Step 2: Assemble the Base Frame

Connect the straight steel pipes to form the rectangular base of the greenhouse. Ensure all connections are secure using the provided hardware.

Step 3: Install the Arch Supports

Attach the curved steel pipes to the base frame to create the arched structure. Secure them firmly with the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure the arches are evenly spaced.

Step 4: Add Crossbars and Reinforcements

Install the horizontal crossbars and diagonal supports to enhance the frame's stability. These connect the arched sections and reinforce the overall structure.

Step 5: Drape the Polyethylene Cover

Carefully drape the mesh-reinforced polyethylene cover over the assembled steel frame. Ensure the cover is centered and the roll-up zippered door is positioned correctly at the front.

Step 6: Secure the Cover

Tie the cover securely to the frame using the integrated ties. Ensure the extra-long ground flaps are spread out. For maximum wind resistance, bury these flaps in the prepared trenches or weigh them down with heavy objects like cinder blocks or stones (not included).

Step 7: Anchor the Greenhouse

Use the provided ground stakes (corkscrew stakes) and ropes to firmly anchor the greenhouse frame to the ground at all designated points. This is crucial for stability, especially in windy conditions.

Operating Instructions

Door Operation

The greenhouse features a roll-up zippered door for easy access. Unzip both sides of the door and roll it upwards. Secure it in the rolled-up position using the buckles or ties at the top to keep it open for entry or increased ventilation.

Ventilation (Windows)

The greenhouse is equipped with 6 mesh-vented windows (3 on each side) to allow for air circulation. Each window can be opened by unfastening its closures and rolling it up. Secure the rolled-up window with the attached ties to maintain airflow and regulate internal temperature. Close windows during cold weather or strong winds.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the polyethylene cover periodically with mild soap and water to remove dirt and maintain light transmission. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Frame Inspection: Regularly check all frame connections and hardware for tightness. Tighten any loose bolts or nuts to ensure structural integrity.
  • Cover Inspection: Inspect the cover for any tears, punctures, or signs of wear. Small repairs can be made with greenhouse repair tape. Replace severely damaged covers.
  • Anchoring: Periodically check the ground stakes and ropes to ensure they remain firmly anchored, especially after strong winds or heavy rainfall.
  • Snow Removal: In areas with heavy snowfall, gently remove accumulated snow from the roof to prevent structural collapse.

Troubleshooting

Greenhouse Instability

If the greenhouse feels unstable, ensure all frame connections are tightened and ground anchors are securely in place. Consider adding additional weights to the ground flaps or reinforcing the frame with extra supports in high-wind areas.

Poor Ventilation / Overheating

Ensure all mesh-vented windows and the main door are open during warm periods to allow for maximum airflow. Consider using a small fan inside if natural ventilation is insufficient.

Water Accumulation Inside

Check the cover for any tears or gaps that might be allowing water to enter. Ensure the ground flaps are properly buried or weighted to prevent water from seeping in from the base.
