2. Drain and Overflow Assembly

  1. Apply a bead of silicone sealant around the top flange of the pop-up drain.
  2. Insert the drain into the bathtub's drain hole from the inside.
  3. From underneath the tub, attach the rubber gasket and tighten the locking nut onto the drain body. Ensure a secure, watertight seal.
  4. Connect the flexible drain hose to the pop-up drain and the overflow assembly. Ensure all connections are hand-tightened and then secured with a wrench, being careful not to overtighten.

4. Water Supply and Final Sealing

  1. Connect the water supply lines to your chosen faucet (faucet not included with bathtub). Ensure all connections are tight and leak-free.
  2. Once the tub is in its final position and all plumbing connections are made, apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the base of the bathtub where it meets the floor. This prevents water from seeping underneath and provides additional stability.
  3. Allow the sealant to cure completely according to the manufacturer's instructions before filling the tub.

Operating Instructions

Using your Vanity Art freestanding bathtub is straightforward:

  1. Filling the Bathtub: Ensure the pop-up drain is closed. Turn on the water supply from your faucet to fill the tub to your desired level. The overflow system will prevent overfilling.
  2. Draining the Bathtub: To drain the tub, simply press the pop-up drain to open it. The water will flow out through the connected drain system.

  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, steel wool, or harsh chemicals (e.g., acetone, paint thinner, strong acids or bases) as these can damage the acrylic surface.
