2. Safety Instructions
Always read and understand this manual before operating the chainsaw. Failure to follow safety instructions can result in serious injury or death.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, heavy-duty gloves, safety shoes, and a hard hat if there is a risk of falling objects.
- Work Area Safety: Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Do not operate the chainsaw in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Keep bystanders, children, and pets away while operating the chainsaw.
- Electrical Safety: Do not expose the chainsaw to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling, or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts.
- Chainsaw Use and Care: Do not force the chainsaw. Use the correct chainsaw for your application. Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
- Kickback Safety: Be aware of kickback, which can occur when the moving chain contacts an object at the upper quadrant of the guide bar nose or when the wood closes in and pinches the saw chain in the cut.
- Proper Grip: Always hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands when operating.

4. Setup
4.1. Filling the Chain Oil Reservoir
- Ensure the chainsaw is unplugged from the power source.
- Place the chainsaw on a flat, stable surface.
- Unscrew the oil tank cap (red cap on top of the chainsaw).
- Carefully pour the provided bio chain oil (180 ml bottle) into the reservoir. Do not overfill.
- Monitor the oil level through the viewing window.
- Securely replace the oil tank cap.
4.2. Checking Chain Tension
The chainsaw features tool-free quick chain tensioning. Before each use, check the chain tension. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled around by hand without excessive force. If the chain is too loose, it can derail; if too tight, it can cause excessive wear and reduce cutting performance.
- Ensure the chainsaw is unplugged.
- Locate the chain tensioning knob on the side of the chainsaw.
- Adjust the knob to achieve the correct tension.
- Once adjusted, ensure the guide bar is securely fastened.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Starting the Chainsaw
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed and PPE is worn.
- Plug the chainsaw into a suitable power outlet. Ensure the power cable is clear of the cutting path.
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands, one on the front handle and one on the rear handle.
- Engage the chain brake by pushing the hand guard forward (if it's not already engaged).
- To start, first press the safety switch (usually a button or lever on the rear handle) and then squeeze the trigger switch. The chain will begin to move.
- Release the chain brake by pulling the hand guard back towards the front handle.
5.2. Cutting Techniques
Always maintain a firm grip and stable footing. Let the chainsaw do the work; do not force it. Begin cutting with the chain at full speed. Be mindful of the direction of falling material and potential kickback.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your chainsaw.
- Chain Lubrication: The chainsaw features an automatic chain lubrication system. Regularly check the oil level through the viewing window and refill as needed with appropriate chain oil. Never operate the chainsaw without sufficient chain oil.
- Chain Tension: Check chain tension before each use and adjust using the tool-free tensioning knob. A properly tensioned chain will extend the life of the chain and guide bar.
- Cleaning: After each use, unplug the chainsaw and clean off sawdust, chips, and debris from the guide bar, chain, and motor housing. Use a brush or compressed air. Ensure ventilation slots are clear.
- Guide Bar Maintenance: Periodically remove the guide bar and clean the groove to ensure proper oil flow. Flip the guide bar regularly to ensure even wear.
- Chain Sharpening: A dull chain will reduce cutting efficiency and increase strain on the motor. Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it when necessary.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Chainsaw does not start. | No power supply; Safety switch not engaged; Faulty power cord/plug. | Check power connection; Ensure both safety switch and trigger are pressed; Inspect power cord for damage. |
| Chain does not move or moves slowly. | Chain brake engaged; Chain too tight; Chain dull or damaged; Motor overload. | Disengage chain brake; Adjust chain tension; Sharpen or replace chain; Reduce cutting pressure. |
| No oil or insufficient oil on chain. | Oil reservoir empty; Oil port clogged; Wrong type of oil. | Refill oil reservoir; Clean oil port and guide bar groove; Use recommended chain oil. |
| Excessive vibration. | Dull or damaged chain; Loose components. | Sharpen or replace chain; Check all fasteners and tighten if necessary. |
