Step 1: Prepare the Sink Area
Turn off the main water supply to your kitchen sink. Clear the area under the sink and place a bucket to catch any residual water. Remove your old faucet if applicable.
Step 2: Install the Faucet
If installing on a 3-hole sink, place the deck plate over the sink holes. Apply a thin bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the base of the faucet or deck plate to create a watertight seal. Insert the faucet assembly through the hole(s) in the sink or deck plate.

Step 3: Secure the Faucet with FastMount
From underneath the sink, slide the FastMount washer and nut onto the threaded shank of the faucet. Hand-tighten the nut, then use a screwdriver to tighten the screws on the FastMount nut until the faucet is secure and stable. Ensure the faucet is properly aligned before fully tightening.
Step 4: Connect Water Supply Lines
Connect the hot and cold water supply lines from the faucet to your home's hot and cold water shut-off valves. The faucet includes 3/8 inch connections. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the connections, being careful not to overtighten. Ensure the hot water line connects to the hot water valve and the cold water line to the cold water valve.

Step 5: Test for Leaks
Once all connections are made, slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for leaks. If any leaks are detected, tighten the connections slightly until the leak stops. Operate the faucet to ensure proper water flow and temperature control.
Operation
Your Glacier Bay Paulina faucet is designed for ease of use and versatility.
Water Flow and Temperature Control
The single handle controls both water flow and temperature. Lift the handle to increase water flow. Move the handle left for hot water and right for cold water.
Sprayer Functions
The pull-down sprayer offers two distinct spray modes:
- Aerated Spray: Ideal for everyday washing and rinsing.
- TurboSpray: Provides focused water columns with 30% more power than standard pull-down faucets, perfect for cleaning stubborn food debris from pots and pans. To switch between modes, press the button on the sprayer head.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help preserve the finish and functionality of your Glacier Bay Paulina faucet.
Cleaning Your Faucet
Clean the faucet regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or polishes, as these can damage the matte black finish and void your warranty.
Aerator Maintenance
If water flow decreases, the aerator may be clogged. Unscrew the aerator from the sprayer head, clean any debris, and rinse it under running water. Reattach the aerator securely.
Ceramic Disc Cartridge
Your faucet is equipped with a durable ceramic disc cartridge designed for drip-free performance. If a leak occurs from the handle, the cartridge may need replacement. Contact customer support for assistance with cartridge replacement.
Troubleshooting
Refer to the following table for common issues and their solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Low Water Flow | Aerator clogged; Water supply partially closed. | Clean the aerator; Ensure water supply valves are fully open. |
| Leaks from Faucet Base | Mounting nut loose; Insufficient sealant. | Tighten the FastMount nut; Reapply plumber's putty or silicone sealant. |
| Leaks from Handle | Ceramic disc cartridge needs replacement. | Contact customer support for a replacement cartridge. |
| Sprayer Not Retracting Properly | Hose obstructed or weight not positioned correctly. | Check under the sink for obstructions; Ensure the hose weight is properly installed and not snagged. |
