Setup and First Use

Unpacking and Inspection

• Carefully remove the flat iron from its packaging.
• Inspect the device for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
• Ensure the power cord is free from kinks or damage.

Power Connection

• Plug the flat iron into a suitable electrical outlet.
• The device is designed for use with standard household voltage.

Operating Instructions

Powering On and Off

• To turn on, press and hold the Power button until the indicator lights illuminate.
• To turn off, press and hold the Power button again until the lights turn off.

Selecting Heat Settings and Hair Texture

The T3 SinglePass StyleMax features Custom Heat Automation and 9 heat settings. To optimize styling, first identify your hair texture:

• Fine Hair Texture: Can you barely feel and see the strand? Select fine hair texture.
• Medium Hair Texture: Can you easily feel the strand and does it glide smoothly through your fingers? Select medium hair texture.
• Coarse Hair Texture: Does the strand feel thick and textured as it runs through your fingers? Select coarse hair texture.

Once your hair texture is selected, the flat iron will automatically suggest an optimal heat setting from its 9 available options. You can adjust this as needed for your styling goals.

Styling for Sleek, Shiny & Straight Hair

For best results, ensure hair is dry and detangled before styling.

1. Start with dry, detangled hair. Gather the top part of your hair in a clip, and leave a 2" section out to begin styling.
2. Clamp the section of hair in between the plates near the root, then glide slowly from roots to ends.
3. Continue working with sections of hair until fully styled.
4. Enjoy beautiful, smooth, and frizz-free results.

Styling for Curls or Waves

The T3 SinglePass StyleMax can also be used to create beautiful curls and waves. Ensure hair is dry and detangled.

1. Start with dry, detangled hair. Gather a 2" section to begin styling.
2. Clamp the section of hair near the roots, then twist the iron 180 degrees and glide through to the ends.
3. Continue working with sections of hair until fully styled.
4. Enjoy beautiful, smooth, and frizz-free results.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning the Flat Iron

• Always ensure the flat iron is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
• Wipe the ceramic plates and exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the plates and finish.
• Ensure no water enters the internal components.

Storage

• Store the flat iron in a cool, dry place.
• Allow the device to cool down completely before storing.
• Do not wrap the power cord tightly around the flat iron, as this can cause damage over time.
