Assembly Instructions

Follow the steps below to assemble your Baby Einstein Ocean Explorers Musical Compact Swing. Refer to the included diagrams for visual guidance.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and ensure no pieces are missing.
2. Assemble the Frame: Connect the metal frame components as indicated in the diagram. Ensure all connections click securely into place.
3. Attach the Seat: Secure the fabric seat pad to the assembled frame. Ensure all straps and buckles are correctly threaded and fastened.
4. Install the Headrest: Position the headrest within the seat pad for infant support.
5. Connect the Control Unit: Attach the control unit to the top of the swing frame.
6. Insert Batteries (for vibration): Open the battery compartment on the vibration unit (located under the seat) and insert one C battery (not included).
7. Connect USB Power: Plug the provided USB cord into the control unit and connect it to a compatible wall adapter (not included) or USB power source.
8. Attach Toy Sleeve: Secure the detachable toy sleeve to the designated attachment points on the swing frame.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

The control unit located at the top of the swing allows you to manage all functions. It features a power button, swing speed selector, music and nature sound options, volume control, and a timer.

Swing Functions

The swing offers 6 speeds and 3 swinging directions to soothe your baby. The seat also rotates 180 degrees to allow for different viewing angles.

• Power On/Off: Press the power button on the control unit to turn the swing on or off.
• Adjust Swing Speed: Use the speed selector buttons (1-6) to choose the desired swing intensity.
• Change Swing Direction: Manually rotate the seat to one of the three available swinging directions.
• Recline Positions: The seat features 2 recline positions for optimal comfort. Adjust by pressing the recline buttons or levers as indicated in your quick start guide.

Music, Sounds, and Vibrations

Engage your baby with 8 classical melodies and 4 nature sounds. The swing also includes a vibration unit for calming comfort.

• Select Melodies/Sounds: Press the music note icon for classical melodies or the leaf icon for nature sounds. Cycle through options by pressing again.
• Adjust Volume: Use the volume control buttons (speaker icon) to increase or decrease the sound level.
• Activate Vibrations: Press the vibration button located on the underside of the seat to activate the calming vibrations. The vibration unit requires one C battery (not included).

Timer Settings

Set the swing to operate for a specific duration using the timer function.

• Set Timer: Press the timer button (clock icon) to select between 15, 20, or 30-minute intervals. The swing will automatically turn off after the selected time.

Toy Sleeve

The detachable toy sleeve provides engaging sensory elements for your baby, including ribbons, an Opus rattle, a fish toy, and a mirror. It can be removed for floor play.

Portability and Storage

The compact frame and integrated wheels allow for easy movement and storage of the swing.

• Moving the Swing: Utilize the wheels on the frame to easily move the swing between rooms.
• Compact Storage: The slim design allows the swing to fit into smaller spaces when not in use.

Maintenance and Care

• Seat Pad & Headrest: Remove from frame. Fasten buckles on restraint and seat pad. Machine wash cold water, gentle cycle. No bleach. Tumble dry, low heat.
• Toy Bar & Toys: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not immerse in water.
• Frame: Wipe with a soft, clean cloth and mild soap.
• Storage: Always store in a dry area. Keep away from direct sun or heat sources.
