1. Product Overview

The MZ M9 is a compact and portable Bluetooth mini speaker designed for high-quality audio on the go. Featuring Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, a 5W speaker, and a built-in rechargeable battery, it offers dynamic sound with hands-free calling capabilities. Its splash-proof design allows for versatile indoor and outdoor use.

2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions before using this product to ensure proper and safe operation.

• Do not expose the speaker to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods.
• Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
• Keep the speaker away from water and liquids. While splash-proof, it is not designed for submersion.
• Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the speaker yourself. Contact qualified service personnel if needed.
• Use only the provided charging cable or a certified equivalent.
• Keep out of reach of children.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Speaker

1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the charging port on the speaker.
2. Connect the larger end of the USB charging cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate (color may vary) to show that the speaker is charging.
4. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off. Disconnect the charging cable.

Note: For optimal battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use.

3.2 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (location may vary, typically on the base or side) for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see an indicator light.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or the indicator light turns off.

3.3 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will typically flash rapidly.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth.
3. Search for available Bluetooth devices. The speaker will appear as "MZ M9" or a similar name.
4. Select "MZ M9" from the list to connect.
5. Once successfully paired, you will hear an audible confirmation, and the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.

Note: The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if that device's Bluetooth is active and within range.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Playing Music

• After successful Bluetooth pairing, open your music application on your connected device.
• Select and play your desired audio. Sound will be streamed through the MZ M9 speaker.
• Volume Control: Adjust the volume directly from your connected device. Some speakers may have physical volume buttons; refer to your specific speaker's design.
• Pause/Play: Use the controls on your connected device to pause or resume playback.

4.2 Hands-Free Calling

When connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth, the MZ M9 speaker can be used for hands-free calls.

• Answering a Call: When a call comes in, the speaker will ring. Press the Multi-function button (often the Power/Play/Pause button) once to answer the call.
• Ending a Call: During a call, press the Multi-function button once to end the call.
• Rejecting a Call: Press and hold the Multi-function button for a few seconds to reject an incoming call.

5.1 Cleaning

• Wipe the speaker's exterior with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface.
• Ensure no liquid enters the speaker's openings.

5.2 Storage

• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% to preserve its lifespan.

5.3 Battery Care

• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Do not leave the speaker connected to a charger indefinitely after it is fully charged.
