Product Overview
The Original Dakota Snoblade is a bi-directional snow blade designed to simplify snow clearing from driveways and sidewalks. Its design allows for efficient snow removal with less effort compared to traditional shoveling. The blade automatically piles snow to the side you choose, and its direction can be easily adjusted for subsequent passes or to change the piling side within the same pass. This tool is suitable for both residential and commercial use and is designed for compact storage.
Important Safety Information
Always hold the shovel with both hands when turning it to avoid injury. Ensure a clear path and be aware of your surroundings during operation.
Setup Guide
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
- Inspect for Damage: Check all components for any signs of damage incurred during shipping. If any parts are damaged or missing, do not proceed with assembly and contact customer support.
- Assemble Handle: Attach the handle assembly to the blade frame. Ensure all bolts, screws, or quick-release pins are securely fastened according to the included assembly diagram (if applicable).
- Verify Wheel Attachment: Confirm that the wheels are securely attached to the frame and rotate freely without obstruction.

Operating Instructions
- Initial Position: Place the snow blade at the starting edge of the area you wish to clear.
- Pushing Snow: Push the snow blade forward. The bi-directional blade will automatically pivot to direct the snow to one side, creating a clear path.
- Next Pass: To clear the adjacent section, you have two options:
- Option 1 (Reverse Direction): Walk back along the cleared path in the opposite direction. The blade will automatically flip, continuing to pile snow to the same side relative to the cleared area.
- Option 2 (Turn Blade): If you need to change the direction of the snow pile within the same pass direction, turn the Sno-Blade 180 degrees. This will reorient the blade to pile snow to the other side.
- Optimal Use: For best results and reduced effort, clear snow regularly, especially during light to medium snowfall. Avoid waiting for deep, heavy, or wet snow, which may require more physical exertion.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, clean the blade, wheels, and frame to remove any snow, ice, salt, or debris. This prevents corrosion and ensures smooth operation.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the blade for wear, cracks, or damage. Check all fasteners (bolts, nuts, pins) to ensure they are tight and secure.
- Lubrication: If the blade's pivot mechanism becomes stiff, apply a small amount of lubricant to the moving parts.
- Storage: Store the snow blade in a dry, protected area when not in use. Its design allows it to be hung on a wall to save floor space.
Troubleshooting
- Difficulty Pushing:
- Ensure the blade is not attempting to clear too much snow at once. Try taking smaller passes or clearing snow more frequently during a snowfall.
- Check for ice buildup on the blade or wheels that might impede movement.
- Verify that the wheels are rotating freely and are not obstructed by debris.
- Snow Not Clearing Effectively:
- Confirm that the blade is making consistent contact with the ground surface.
- Inspect the blade edge for any damage or excessive wear that might reduce its effectiveness.
- Blade Not Flipping Direction:
- Examine the blade's pivot mechanism for any obstructions, ice, or damage that might prevent it from rotating freely.
