1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Aiosa 2-in-1 Single Serve K-Cup Coffee Maker, Model CM-208RM. This compact and efficient coffee maker is designed for convenience, allowing you to brew fresh coffee using either K-Cup capsules or your favorite ground coffee. With its one-button operation and automatic shut-off feature, enjoying a perfect cup of coffee is quick and easy. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure safe and optimal performance.

2. Important Safety Information

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or coffee maker in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  • Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.

4. Setup

Before first use, please follow these steps:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and check for any damage.
  2. Clean: Wash the reusable filter, K-Cup holder, and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
  3. First Clean Cycle: Fill the water tank with clean water (without coffee). Place a mug on the drip tray. Close the lid and press the power button to run a brewing cycle. Discard the hot water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to clean the internal components.
  4. Placement: Place the coffee maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface near a power outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Brewing with K-Cup Capsules

  1. Add Water: Open the top lid and pour fresh water into the water tank. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  2. Insert K-Cup: Place a K-Cup capsule into the K-Cup holder. Close the lid firmly until it clicks.
  3. Place Mug: Position your mug (6-14 oz capacity) on the drip tray. For taller travel mugs, remove the drip tray.
  4. Start Brewing: Press the power button on the side of the machine. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin shortly.
  5. Auto Shut-Off: The coffee maker will automatically turn off once brewing is complete.
  6. Enjoy: Carefully remove your hot coffee.

5.2 Brewing with Ground Coffee or Loose Leaf Tea

  1. Add Water: Open the top lid and pour fresh water into the water tank. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  2. Add Grounds/Tea: Place your desired amount of ground coffee or loose leaf tea into the reusable filter. Do not overfill. Insert the reusable filter into the coffee maker. Close the lid firmly until it clicks.
  3. Place Mug: Position your mug (6-14 oz capacity) on the drip tray. For taller travel mugs, remove the drip tray.
  4. Start Brewing: Press the power button on the side of the machine. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin shortly.
  5. Auto Shut-Off: The coffee maker will automatically turn off once brewing is complete.
  6. Enjoy: Carefully remove your hot beverage.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your coffee maker.

6.1 Daily Cleaning

  • After Each Use: Unplug the coffee maker. Remove and empty the K-Cup holder or reusable filter. Wash it along with the drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

6.2 Descaling (Monthly or as needed)

Mineral deposits from water can build up over time, affecting performance. Descale your coffee maker regularly.

  1. Prepare Descaling Solution: Mix 1 part white vinegar with 2 parts water, or use a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions.
  2. Fill Water Tank: Pour the descaling solution into the water tank.
  3. Run Cycle: Place a large mug on the drip tray. Run a brewing cycle without any coffee.
  4. Soak: After the cycle, let the machine sit for 30 minutes with the solution inside.
  5. Rinse Cycles: Discard the solution. Fill the water tank with fresh, clean water and run 2-3 full brewing cycles to rinse thoroughly.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
